Are they advertising illegal financing?

There may be some loopholes that The Dump knows of in order to get around this, but last year, the federal government enacted legislation that basically takes away the "no payment" option from no payment/no interest financing. Finance institutions are not allowed to offer the no payment option. Instead, they can offer a minimum payment option or equal payment option.
Again, I don't know if they have figured out a loophole, but I wouldn't be surprised if they switched you from the no payment/no interest finance option to the no interest/minimum payment option, after advertising the no/no financing (which I have heard in their radio advertising).
This may be something to bring up as you move forward with your suit.

WHY would ANYONE shop at a place called "the dump"?
WHY would anyone name a store "the dump"?
That's just plain stupid!
However, it appears that there is much more to this story. Too much drama for me.
"I'm sure the actual name of the store is not "the dump". You really should state the name of this furniture store. "
So Steve, how "sure" are you? There couldn't possibly be a national chain of furniture stores called "The Dump", could there? I'm sure a simple Google search or even putting a ".com" after the name of the store wouldn't turn up such a business.
Get off your high horse and do a tiny bit of research before making yourself look like a fool.
