The Express Group - LInens N Things Rebate Rip-Off $50 Philippe Cookware - Rebate For LInens N Things Invalid purchase date 5/25/07 must be purchased 5/18- 6/3/2007 calendar, anyone? Wixom Michigan

I purchased the Philippe Richard Pro 12 Pc. Stainless Steel Cookware Set with a $50 rebate on May 25, 2007.
I mailed everything on 6-3-2007.( the upc code and the online receipt which I printed on 5/25/2007)

I got a card in the mail on 9-11-07 saying the rebate was invalid because it was not purchased during the promotion.I called the number on the rebate form. It was no longer in service.

I found the number for The Express Group on this site, and called that number.They told me they were no longer handling linens n things rebates and she gave me the number to linens n things rebate.

I called 866-266-5013.

I was told several times that I purchased the cookware on 6/11/2007 so the rebate was void. I told him several times I purchased the cookware online on 5/25/07. He finally said he would correct the date and send my rebate for further processing.

We will see how long it takes to reprocess this. If I would not have called I would have lost $50.00.
How many people just give up and lose money?
