I have been reading the reports on The Global Connection, and see that we were not the only people to be ripped off by this company.
I found that they were very frustrating when tring to get a hold of anyone via e-mail or phone. I even phone the V.P. Tom Gallant, and the VP of mentoring and distribution Roger Winstead, on several occations, to report that their service was not acceptable, and that I required help, I only received on call from Tom, and he put me off, as it were.
My mentoring started off with Jamie Smith, who didn't even acknowledge that I was a member of TGC.( I guess she was too busy doing her nails!!!) I asked for a new mentor, who then became Mike Gary, after several months of frustration, and being told that I should be looking for my "own clients, and products", was then given a "new" mentor Mike Grey, telling me that Mike Gary has now "left the company", but still did not offer any help, and was told to "be more independant".
I could never get a hold of my mentor, and when I did, was told that I should email, not phone them, that they were very busy doing their own "deals" with their own "clients", to worry about the likes of me, who paid a very pretty penny for their service.
I could wait up to two weeks for a phone call, or email, and any "help" that was needed for my clients was not there.
I also talked to Dianne ( no last name was given) in International because of a deal I was trying to put together, and needed help, ended up in tears as she screamed at me that I was doing everything wrong, and that I should have asked for help.....!! Why did she think I was calling her?
Needless to say, I lost the deal.
The part that bothers me the most is that we were giving at least 10 names and numbers of people ( which I still have by the way) of people doing the business, which I phoned and talked to. They were obviously scripted as to what to, and what not to say.
I also checked TGC out with the National Business Opportunity Bureau Inc.,which as of March 5th,2003, when we received their report, stated that they had no complaints at that time.
So figured that they were a safe bet....how wrong was I??!!
It was a very tough lesson, and with any luck we will be able to recover some of the money we wasted on this.
I have checked out the website that you put up on the site, but not sure how to report to them. Please can someone offer an email or website that we can file our complaint as well.
