The Government Grants Association ripoff, No product, no Refund Clearwater Florida

I was contancted by the Government Grants association, and was asked to give them $199 under the premise that I was garaunteed at least $5,000 dollars in government grants. The sales person had a heavy accent and was not forthcoming with information.

I was told that, after the money was taken from my account, the information package would be mailed to me in 15 to 20 days. I waited about a month, then tried to contact the company but could only get an answering machine. I then contacted the better business bureau in order to file a complaint and get a refund.

A week after I recieved notice from the better business bureau that the Government Grants association was going to issue me a refund check, I called, repeatedly, the grants association, until I was able to speak to someone, who claimed my refund request had not yet been submitted, and that it would take another 15 to 20 days.

It has now been over 20 days since then, still no refund, and the numbers to call and check on the status of said refund have been disconnected.
