On 10/4/08 I visited a website :grants for college women.com, in an effort to find grants for single women. On the website it listed a charge of $1.98 to be deducted from my account which I authorized. I few days later I received a cd, which I have not yet reviewed. A few days ago I went to renew my membership on line with another company, which came back and said that my bank would not accept the charges, so today, 10/16/08 I contacted my banking facility and ask to have a copy of my statment faxed to me, upon reviewing my statement to see what had happen I noticed a $69.95 charge from the grant proffessor, which I know I did not authorize. So I called the company using the number listed on my account statement and spoke with a representative by the name of Angel, I explained to her that I did not authorize this transaction and she told me that it was in the fine print I should have read it more clearly, but I know it wasn't there and asked for my money to reembursed she said there was nothing they could do because I had seven (7) days to review the disk and stop the payment. I did not agree to pay this amount and I feel that this company should be made to re-emburse me for the money they stole from my account.
