We recently ordered the cd Grant university offers for $1.98, after researching this place on the internet, we cancelled the account the very next day. We had to leave a message as no one ever answers the phone there, and got no call back. Today my husband finds $69 and change taken out of his account.
We call and call but never get an answer or a call back, we wrote emails and got no response. We even called the number for The Ideal Wealth Builder Club, which you are supposed to get a free membership to when you join Grant University. They had no idea what we were talking about and promised to call us back. So far they have not.
Has anyone else out there that has been scammed by these people been able to get their money back or succesfully file any legal charges?

HERE'S WHAT I DID TO AVOID BEING SCAMMED. I SENT AN E-MAIL TO:
support@thegrantuniversity.com I INCLUDED MY "ORDER #", "LOGIN:", "PASSWORD"
AND "ORDER DATE". IN THE SUBJECT BOX IN PUT: CANCELLATION OF SUBSCRIPTION. THEN I CALLED THEM AT: 1-(877) 207-1615 (9:00AM-5:00PM PST,
MON.- FRI.). WHEN YOU CALL THIS NUMBER THE AUDIO IS BAD IT IS CHOPPY AND HAS A LOT OF ECHOS, JUST HANG ON UNTIL A PERSON ANSWERS. GIVE THEM WHAT THEY ASK FOR (NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS).TELL THEM YOU WANT TO CANCEL
YOUR SUBSCRIPTION. THEY MAY TELL YOU THAT YOUR SUBSCRIPTION HAS ALREADY BEEN CANCELLED AND THEY WILL SEND AN EMAIL CONFIRMATION. WHEN YOU GET THAT EMAIL MAKE A COPY SO THAT IF THEY CHARGE YOU, YOU CAN TAKE YOUR COPY TO YOUR BANK OR SEND IT TO YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. IF THEY HAVE ALREADY CHARGED YOU, EXPLAIN TO THE BANK OR CREDIT CARD THAT IT WAS NOT AUTHORIZED AND FILE A FRAUD REPORT/COMPLAINT. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
