I was a bit weary so the representative then informed me that it was a 30-day money back guarantee. I then gave him my check card account number and it posted to my bank checking account at Wells Fargo Bank on 3/30/07. It showed up on my account as two separate charges, one for $35 and one for $75 from The Greatest Vitamin in the World. Before the thirty days were up I contacted The Greatest Vitamin in the world to tell them I decided I wanted to cancel my membership and get my money back and they said no problem, I should expect it in the mail within a few weeks. I never received a refund, any product, or a website. I called on several occasions and was told my refund should be on its way. A few weeks later I even got a letter in the mail after I called several times stating that the letter was to inform me that the refund process has been initiated at my request. Once their Accounting department has processed the refund, the credit to my account should be shown on my next or following statement (depending on my billing cycle). I then waited and began calling again to find that every time I called there was now an answering machine stating that I was calling after hours, which I indeed was not. It prompted me to then leave a message and the mailbox was always full and couldn't receive messages. Soon after that all the phone lines were disconnected.
Since then I have contacted my bank, which told me that they couldn't help me since it was past 60 days. Which doesn't make sense to me because if I hadn't been given the run around the whole time I would have contacted them earlier. Since I trusted in the fact that I was going to receive a refund I guess I waited to long according to my banks policy, which I was not aware of either.
After reviewing my banking statements I then noticed that right after I joined The Greatest Vitamin In the World on 3/28/07,on 4/5/07 and 4/9/07 I was charged by two different companies that I never authorized anything with and have never heard of before. Their names are AMERICAN LEISURE and EASY SAVER. They both charged me $1 a piece for the month of April and then every month since then, up until 11/20/07 they have both charged me $14.95 a month for nothing. Since April there have been a total of 18 transactions from American Leisure and Easy Saver, totaling $241.20. I am starting to believe these companies are related.
Please help me bring these fraudulent companies and people to justice.
I am ready for a class action suite!!!

Come to find, Don Lapre is a fast-talking character that has been selling "get rich" opportunities for many years. His infomercials describe how, while living in a "tiny one-bedroom apartment, "he became a millionaire by placing hundreds of "tiny little ads" in newspapers. Doug Grant is a "nutritionist" who claims to have vast experience in advising people about health and fitness. In 2003 they teamed up to promote "The Greatest Vitamin in the World," which Grant reportedly formulated and Lapre began marketing through infomercials and Web sites.
