My father and I ordered ink from this company because they swore to us it would last us 2x long then HP ink cartrigdes. We got the ink and it lasts us half as long as HP ink. We were extremely unhappy with our purchase with them. We told them our problem and they did nothing, So we held off on our payment to them. They kept calling and calling and calling and we told them but they did not care.

After 2 months of this B.S. The women they had calling us started calling us childish and that we needed to grow up. I was so angry with this. I asked to speak to her manager and she she said no, than she continued to to say she was the manager. Never make the same mistake as we did and never do buisness with the cheaters. There is too little ink in their cartridges and too little patience with them as well.

#1 General Comment

And yet another victim of Kelly Printing.

AUTHOR: Andy SCW - (United States of America)

For the last severalmonths we have been dealing with Kelly Printing Services out of Las Vegas Nevada.  Thes was started by two employees who no longer work for our company  and later this travesty was passed onto me. The origional Kelly Printing Claim was was that they could save us money on our print cartridge needs. Initally we were to receive shipments of ink cartridges.  After I received the first three shipments and I paid the invoics according to the origional "contract" I continuted to get calls saying that we needed to complete our contract and place an order.

When I received a call from Mary at Kelly Printing she informed me that they were finishing the contract and that they were going to send us another order.  I informed her that we had met the requirements of the origional contract and did not want any further products from her company.  She then told me that this was the final order that we would recieve from them.  I then told her that the last order was our final order. After the second order I insisted that my company was not interested in receiving any further order from Kelly Printing.  She continued to  insist that this was a better deal for us and we were bound to the agreement that we had with them. They were however reluctantly willing to modify th order when I told them that I did not need the amount of cartridges that whey were sending.  Saying again that we would still get a decent deal of the product.

As I am the office manager all contracts with vendors at some point or another come across my desk for my review and I nor the owner  ever signed any contracts or received any copies of said contract.  In site of this Kelly Printing  maintained that we were under contract with them to fulfill the orders placed, which I found fairly strange. In doing some research on  Kelly Printing, I came across this website Ripoffreport.com and found several entries from various other companies which had similar difficulties, except they were saying that all the cartridges they have received were not compatible with their printers. I printed all this information out and faxed it along with a letter to Kelly Printing telling them how unhappy I was with their services, I also wrote thatI wanted to cancel all orders and business with them.  I stated that my company did not want to do any further business with them and that from this point if I received any further  calls from them I was going to seek legal representation. I did not hear fromthem until February 12, 2010 when Diane from Kelly Printing called to confirm that they were sending out my order.  I informed her of everything I found and told her I sent this information to them the other day and that I did not want to do any further business with them.  At that point she hung up on me.

Less than a minute later Diane called back asking for me.  Excessively frustrated, I was not inclined to take the call at all and the owner of the company talked to her instead.  Once again he told her everything that was said by me and that we were unhappy with the service that we received from them and that we did not want to continue any further business with them and that we would not accept or pay for any  further shipments from Kelly Printing. Diane told him that this was understandable.  My boss then told her that he wanted something in writing stating that we would not get any further calls or orders from her firm, Kelly Printing.  Diane toldhim that she was unable  to do that and that it would have to go to Mary our account rep.  Diane further told my boss that Mary would be in contact with us regarding this matter.

Kelly printing operates on cold calling, pushy sales people and high pressure sales tactics. They tell you that you are under contract wit them when no contract  has been signed and they do not send a copy of any kind of contract for your review or yoru files. I have tried to discontiue  all contact and business with Kelly Printing with no luck.  they are very quick to tell you that your contract is almost complete, but yet when the completeion of the the origional agreement is fulfilled, they call you for another order stating that the contract is not up and repeating the order will be your final order.

Persistant and rude

AUTHOR: Rosetta - (United States of America)

They have been doing the same thing to me.  They call and say they are sending out the remainder of my cartridges and my account will be closed.  I have documentation of every phone call that they tell me this.  Had the remainder delivered last year and the salesman told me that he would close out my account that my obligation had been fulfilled and I would get a confirmation in the mail saying my account was closed.  That never happened so I called to ask where it was they said they didn't have record of it but would get it done and send it.  Still nothing.  But they continue to call to complete my order of my last cartridges.  I never did agree to buy anymore than the original ones I was going to try out.  The salesman at the time said I was under no obligation to buy that if I liked them just call and order more.  They lie everytime they call.  They are the worst company I have ever dealt with.  They never give up and say the same thing everytime.  Everytime I tell them I am not ordering and they don't listen they just keep talking and force me to just hang up on them.  If they call again I am reporting them to the BBB.  They are horrible!

tips for phone solicitations

AUTHOR: Paml - (U.S.A.)

This type of scam has been around for decades. The solution - DO NOT ever buy anything from any type of printing company that cold calls you with offers of "great deals" on toner, ink cartridges, etc. Buy only from your local suppliers.

However, in defense of Kelly Printing, the salesperson who called me was very polite, and even gave me a valid return phone number (not usually the case - they will usually either hang up if pressured for further info, or give a phony call back number.)

Even so, give your local office supply stores your toner business. Or, if you lease equipment, in most cases with a service agreement, supplies are included at no additional cost. (I have been purchasing from PrintPal.com - have had good luck, good prices, and only once in 6 years got a "dud" cartridge. Give them a try. Recycled are OK, but not for HP printers - they like the OEM)

Good luck.

Rude Reps

AUTHOR: Mkmcgohan - (U.S.A.)

These Kelly people have called me repeatly even though I have asked them to be removed from their calling list. I just had one today call and when I politly stated we are happy with our current service. They barked "fine", in very sharp, snobby tones and slammed the phone down..... Nice.

Lack of information

AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)

I was contacted by a sales rep from this company. I have been contacted by this company in the past and have told them we will not be using them for our toner needs, however, they still continue to call from time to time.

During this particular call, I asked the sales rep for two things: some sort of written literature with some sort of company information and a pricing guide and a website. He informed me that they did not have a website, and if they did, he did not know what it was. He informed me he was still new to the company but his rebuttals made it sound like he has been working for this company for some time. He was extremely pushy and insisted I let him send me a toner after I repeatedly told him all I wanted was printed literature with pricing information. After asking many times, he finally gave me his name.

After the 20 minute call ended, I called the phone number listed for the company because I wanted to verify that this was actually an employee of said company; I have been taken by toner scams before. I asked the operator if she could tell me (or direct my call to HR) if the person I talked to was actually an employee there. She refused to give me any information and tried to tell me it is aganist the law for her to give me any information, even verifying an employee name. I then asked if there was a super visor that I could speak with. She was extremely hesitant and at that time I was so fed up I ended the call.

Point taken: Kelly Printing Supplies pratices shady business tatics. I would not support their company.

Pushy Sales Tactics

AUTHOR: Jcdi17 - (U.S.A.)

Kelly Printing/Kelly Products had repeatedly called our company over the past year (or more) after we firmly asked them to stop. The sales people (who I have the names of) have been pushy, rude, and sarcastic in their responses. A few times they have started the call stating "We are following up with you about your such and such printer like you ASKED us to". I did no such thing. They kept record which printers we had (from our very first conversation) and my name after I had firmly asked them to remove our information from their database.

From my experience, this is not a respectable company. Shame on them.

Unfounded Allegations

AUTHOR: Kelly Printing Supplies - (U.S.A.)

We sold Mr. W ink jet cartridges on June 5, 2008, not his daughter. Our terms are standard net 30 days. We started trying to collect our invoice towards mid July because it was due. We first talked to Mr. W on July 28, 2008 and he said that maybe he will pay us in a few weeks. This makes the invoice becoming very past due, but okay we could wait a little longer. At least he acknowledged the bill, and gave us a promise for payment.

When we did not receive payment in a few weeks, we started calling again for payment. By mid August we were now being told by Mr. W's daughter, Katie, the her dad refused to take our calls. When we tried to inquire about payment, she said he is the only one who can help us, and he will not get on the phone with us.

By the end of August, after repeatedly being told that Mr. W refused to get on the phone with us, and by the way, to date had never mentioned any thing about defective products, this seriously past due account was given to our collections manager to determine whether this account should have their non payment be reported to Dun & Bradstreet and written off. When the manager called on August 29, 2008, our manager talked to Mr. W's daughter and she stated he would not talk to us and he is the only one who will determine payment status. Our manager said that Mr. W was being childish for not coming to the phone and he needs to deal with this past due invoice. Mr. W's daughter screamed at our manager and hung up on her.

On September 2, 2008, our collections manager again called trying to talk to Mr. W, since he is the only person who can pay his invoice that was now about 90 days out. Katie, his daughter, answered the phone and of course screened the call as she always did, and when we identified ourselves said she wanted to talk to a manager. We said we needed to talk to her father. She yelled, Dad this is Kelly Printingpick up the phone and tell them they have to talk to me. Mr. Wpicked up the phone and said, You have to talk to my daughter and hung up the phone. This is when Katie was demanding to speak to a supervisor. She was then informed she was speaking to a supervisor. She refused to believe she was speaking to a supervisor but eventually said they will get payment out, to stop harassing them or they will sue us. The manager said we just want our payment for the products that you have had for 90 days, and we will be more than happy to close this account.

Katie called back and talked to another supervisor where she admitted that her dad had no money and was working five jobs just to try to make money. She also admitted that her dad was acting childish, but she is his daughter and does not like anyone speaking of her father that way. She ended with she would get payment out, but she does not want us to contact them again. We complied, wrote off the invoice as bad debt, and sent a final demand letter.

Today is September 27, 2008, and to date we still have not received payment. They have kept our product and not paid. We still have never heard anything about defective product, so we believe that was just added in their report for dramatic effect. This is bad business practice in our belief, and they should be the one identified as the rip off business, not us. Also, both of their actions have been childish in our observation, and completely unprofessional. It would be one thing if funds were tight and they were trying to work with us, but they just won't let us talk to anyone or find out any true information. They just stay obstinate and I guess think that will make their problems go away. Then they have the audacity to report us to RipOffReport.comunbelievable.
