Law Office Of Ekaette P. Eddings ripoff Did not pay for my services as a Legal Assistant Atlanta Georgia

I worked for Ekaette since September 25, 2006. At first everyday for about 5 hours, then she said that can only pay me for 4 hours, so for the next 5 weeks was like that.

She said that I will receive my first paycheck after a month, I said o.k. Also she promised me a race after 2 months (which of course, never happened).

She moved to Denver, Colorado. And she came to Atlanta when she had court dates or some importants appointments. So was not very frequently.

She kept cutting off my hours, and ALWAYS paying me really late. The last month I worked only 4 hours once a week.

The last time I talked to her was in January 3rd, when I called, then she called me back (she answered cause she did not recognized my number) and she said will call me right back, also said she lost my number..(she only had my cell phone, but I called from my home phone). She never called back, but she sent me an e-mail letting me know that she is going to close the office.

I said O.K but asked her to pay me what she owes me. She said she will be back on February 7th, still has not even called me, also, when I told her how much she owes me, she says that does'nt think that she owes me that much, and I was'nt supposed to go to work in december, which is not true, cause I have mails from her in december giving me instructions about some things in the office.

I have been so patient and nice to her, probably more that I should. But what she is doing is totally inacceptable.
