I purchased a $1200.00 new mattress from the MAttress Firm in Fort Worth, Texas. When it arrived, we had one relatively good night's sleep. The next night, we had bites all over our legs. We went out of town two days and came home to sleep. That night our torsos and legs were riddled with bites. We found bugs crawling on top of the sheets. We called customer service (866)942-3552, for a new mattress to be delivered. We were told that the firs thing we would have to do was to have their Orkin man come out and see the mattress. At this point, I sincerely wanted to vomit. I paid for a new mattress and was having to discuss pest control about said mattress before it was a week old.
So instead, I have filed a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission, called American Express for a merchant charge back while they decide how to behave appropriately with my $1200.00 and will go fromt here to the BBB and the Texas State Comptroller and the Health Department to find out how these mattresses are comingled with other unclean mattresses picked up from people's homes.. This is too vile for words..
