Last month, I reserved a bus with the party ride. The price of the bus was $2300 with a $300 deposit. I put the deposit down and my contract stated i had to pay the remaining balance within 2 weeks of my event. about 2 weeks after i placed my deposit, i get a call from the party ride saying i have to pay them $750. They told me I was put on some type of "payment plan." Nobody told me about this payment plan so i told them i was not able to pay that balance at the moment. The person kindly doubled my payment for a different date. When that date came, i called the party ride to make my payment of $1500. Before i made my payment, i had been browsing the internet and read some of the negative things other costumers had to say about the party ride. I became scared because I did not want to pay for the bus and not have it arrive. I called the party ride to make my payment anyways. But before I made payment I told the person I was talking to (Dee Dee) that I had a few questions. The party ride never once asked me about pick up locations, times, ect. So i was really worried about the arrival of the bus, after all there were going to be 30 passengers on this bus. As I was speaking, I was repeatedly cut off by Dee Dee. I told her that I was not satisfied with the service and she cancelled my bus and told me I would be issued a refund. I assumed that my $300 refund would be sent back on my credit card immediately, but it was not. I began to call the party ride daily, and kept getting the "run around." I kept being told I need to speak to the accountant Mark who never seems to be around. After I kept calling, I finally spoke to Mark who was extremely rude. I told him my situation and his response was "I'm busy right now doing payroll, so i will get back to you later." WOW really? I was livid. I am still waiting on my refund. I'm glad I cancelled them because I have read so many negative things about their company. I do not know how they are still in business.
