We had a daytime wedding reception at the Riviera Caterers and one of our wedding gifts was given to the couple who had their reception that night. The Riviera told us the MC had put our gift in the wrong place and the other couple had called them and notified them they had our gift. Someone from the Riviera was supposed to pick up the gift and they would send it to us, but they never did. We were constantly given the run around until finally, we were told the other couple were not returning phone messages left for them.
Then the Riviera staff supposedly sent a letter to the other couple and it was returned. The Riviera then told us they would send us a check to cover the cost of the gift. They never did.
They also gave us the wrong cake, but that is besides the point.

How could you go online and try to destroy someones buisness over some lame excuse about a gift. I've been to the riviera several times for family events and no one has ever had any complaints.sounds to me your just looking for a hand out .your main reason for being there was to have your wedding I did not here any complaints on that !!!!!!. Don't blame the catering hall for your gifts that's your problem the catering hall is there to cater your party not your gifts period!!!!!!!
