I purchased an item online for my son's Halloween costume. I paid immediately via pay pal. I received a confirmation email that my order was placed completely. 3 days later, I got an email from pay pal saying that my money was refunded. It came with a phone number to call if I had any questions. I called this number to ask why this happened and was put on the phone with Todd (supposedly the owner of the company).
Never in my life have I been treated so badly. I was literally on the phone with my mouth wide open as he was talking down to me. I simply asked why my money was refunded and he didn't want to tell me. I wasn't taking "I don't know" for an answer so I asked if I could speak to someone who could tell me. He said, "Well, I'm the owner of the company, there's nobody else to speak to" and tried to hang up. Again, in shock I said, "Can you check and see if the item has shipped yet" to which he said, "I would not ship an item and then refund you". He asked me what item it was and I told him. He said, "Oh, that item has been discontinued for a while now". I said, "Dont you think you should pull it off your website then" and he said, "it probably is now". I then asked why it took them 3 days to notify me and he said, "Were busy". I asked how he was going to make this situation right and he said, "By hanging up!" and he did exactly that. REALLY? This is the supposed owner of the company treating his customers like this? I would HATE to work for such a jerk...I hope his employees are not treated this way. This place does not know the meaning of customer service and should be shut down!
By the way, although it says my money has been refunded, it's not in my bank account or pay pal yet...fishy!
