(This is my opinion based on my experience)  Jeff Shea first seems like a nice guy.  He smiles and says whatever he needs to say to get the contract.  As the work starts he disappears, will not respond when you try to reach him, and the end result is nothing like what you expect.  Dealing with them cost me several thousand dollars. The Better Business Bureau has an alert on this business

This company filed for bankruptcy and then made a lot of efforts to hide their records online.  They hired a  company to make bad online content disappear, deleted their Google Maps page and started a new one to get rid of the negative reviews.  The new Google page has only one review.  Miraculously sites like Kudzu have a lot of new 5 star ratings to try to push down real reviews like this one.   James Hardie (thier big name siding supplier) dropped them and now they sell some foreign siding product.

I should have checked them out better before we signed a contract.  Avoid this place!

Going to be suspended from the BBB

The Siding Doctor is about to be suspended from the BBB. Jeff Shea I am also going to sue you for the damages you have failed to correct. You aren't going to be able to steal from people and damage their property for very much longer. Social Media alone is going to take you down.

Follow up to case ID 27321814The Siding Doctor did send someone out to "repair" the issues with my home. They contracted this service out. The contractor damaged my home while trying to make the repairs. He also installed roof flashing incorrectly. I called Marilyn Shea and sent her emails with pictures of the damages. Jeff Shea came to my home to look at the damages. He didn't want to fix the damage and told me that the issues were just "cosmetic". I told him that I expected everything that was broken by the contractor fixed and areas that the contractor missed fixed as well. When I wouldn't back down I was told repairs would be made to all areas and the roof & they would be out in 7 days. I have called several times over the last 2 months and no one returns the calls. Mr. Shea did not pay the contractor for the work/damages done to my home, I have this in writing from Handy Husband. The Siding Doctor has not made an effort to resolve these issues. See the email below, this was in response to the pictures of the damages made to my home."From: marilyns@thesidingdoctor.com To: angelinamancuso@hotmail.com Subject: RE: Repairs on Angelina Mancuso's Home Date: Fri, 25 Oct 2013 16:26:03 -0400 Wow, is all I can say. Did we do the roof too? Jeff want to come by and look at it. Would it be okay if he came by Wednesday? It will probably be around 11:00? If so, just reply to this email and Ill put it on his calendar. If this doesnt work Ill call you and well figure out a good time.Marilyn" This situation must be fixed ASAP. The Siding Doctor closed case ID 27321814 knowing full well about the damages to my home. I will be taking legal actions if they do not make these repairs. Please let me know how I can send photos of the damage to you and please provide a phone number and case manager name so I may speak to a person about this matter Thank you

Why don't you return phone calls from customers with complaints?

Mr. Shea, 

  I have been leaving phone messages with your office (Leslie) since August 20, 2013 because I am having issues with the work your company did on my home. I left you a voicemail message this afternoon (9/6/13) I am very interested to see if I get a return call. The siding that was installed by your company on my home is bowing, cracking and crumbling in my hands. I began calling your office on August 20th and talked with Leslie giving her a rundown of the issues I have been having. After 8 days and no return call, as I was promised I called again on August 28th, again I was told I would get a call back, most likely from a Daniel Lewis. It is now Sept. 6th and still no call from anyone.

I left you a voicemail message this afternoon as I was told you were gone for the day. My name is Angelina Mancuso just so you know who to call back. I have filed a complaint with the BBB who still lists your company under bankruptcy protection in the event you want to contact them to let them know the issue has been resolved. As I said, Leslie told me she made a list of the issues I am having when I first began calling and I will provide you the list if she does not have it.  I had high hopes this matter would be resolved or that I would at least have been contacted before now. Please make the effort to contact me as I do not want to have to take any further actions against your company.

while it is true we filed for a reorganization under chapeter laws that allow us to continue to function as business and repay creditors, absolutely none of our customers were effected negetively by this decision. in fact htey have all benefited from our decision to stay in business repay creditors, and stand behing the almost 10,000 cutomer warranties we have out there. we never ripped off anyone for anything. we always deliver what the contract calls for to best of our ability.

we have never hired anyone to cover up any of our inofrmation it is all public record and it is readily avialbale for anyone that wishes to seek it out. we have been completely discharged from our bankruptcy filing, and it our goal to coninue to provide qulaity products and services to all of customers. we were not dropped by hardie or any other vendors, we changed suppliers becuase it was a an opportunity to upgarde the products and waranties we offer to our customer base. the forieign supplier to which the anonymous poster refers to, is a us corporation that manufactures all of its siding products right here in Georgia.

we here doing business in Georgia and easy to find. we have had the same phone number since we started in business almost 20 years ago. no one is without a way to contact us directly. any customer that has a legitimate complanit can the office any time and we will gladly fix, repair or replace anything covered under our warranty. while it easy to make outragous claims anonymously, it is more difficult to be in business these days defending ourselves form people who won't show their face anfter making flase cliams agianst our company.

the 5 star rating are their for a reason we earned and we will coninue to earn them moving forward. please feel free conact us directly with any questions that yopu may about hte siding doctor.
