They promised an experienced coach as well as advertising to help attain my financial goals. I was told by a representative, Francois Rodriques, that I would pay $6995.00 and there would be no further costs. I specifically asked a couple of times if he was certain that there would be no further costs involved. He repeatedly assured me there were no additional costs. Francois promised me that he would be my advocate & help me along the way. As a matter of fact, he gave me his number as well as his extension & asked me to call him anytime I needed anything or had any questions. He also promised to pay for my first months credit card bill if I hadn't made a profit in my first month.
He requested for my credit card information for the amount stated above. Next, I was told that the company would contact me in the next few days to set up a session with a coach. Our session with the coach was about a week after we signed up with this company. (I later found out that the company's formal policy states that you have a three day right of rescission, yet they set my date with my coach for one week later, which prevented me from making an informed decision about the company. As by verbal agreement with them that they would not charge my account till after 72 hrs.... they charged my account within 24hrs.
How am I supposed to know about all the hidden costs associated with this system/company in the first three days? I didn't receive any of this information until my first session with our coach!!!!). I told the associate and the coach of Bright Builders that I am hard of hearing and would like to use an online chat service to better communicate vitale information to better build my business. They said I should use a tape-recorder. Wrongful to say and discriminating.
After the initial session with the coach, I had my friend volunteer to interpret for me, found their claims to be inaccurate. First, we asked the coach about his experience in this field of internet sales and he would not give a straight answer. The best he would say was, "I've been doing this for 10 years." He did everything he could to focus me on the task at hand and avoid this question. I was originally told that I would be dealing with an experienced coach. I never got the answers I needed from him. When my friend informed him that I was hearing impaired he told him and me that I should use a tape-recorder. That's an insult and discriminating.
Later in the coaching session giving an assignment before the second week of coaching session, I found out that if I wanted to do drop shipping (which is one of the main forms of business they promote), I would need to pay a $60 to $70 fee to acquire a list of companies that drop ship. We were also told that we would need to pay an additional monthly fee for a website, pay charges to a company called Bright Builders and pay additional charges for a website (monthly hosting fee) based on the number of products we sold on our site. Also, I was told by our coach that I would need to attend tele-classes to supplement our coaching all to a long distance number. I can't believe that they can't see that I'm hard of hearing and given lectures over the phone would very difficult for me to attain and write down at the same time.
I was baffled at all of the additional costs after only the first session when my promise from Francois had been that there would be no further costs. Because of the lies I had been told, I'm in the process of contacting the company to stop the coaching sessions, with a plan of discontinuing this service and receiving a full refund.
