Michael Stienburg apparently has been in the industry for decades. He claimed to manufacture sports wear in the 80's at the mart. He said that he owned a shop in the California Mart of almost a decade. He now focused on selling not manufacturing. His company RoadWarriorReps AKA The Tribe emailed our company and claimed to be sales reps. They boasted of years of experience in the swim industry and wanted to take us on. They asked us for a fee of $1500 plus 10% of promised sales. They Asked us to overnight us samples and all marketing materials.

When owner of our company wanted to set up a meeting at their office, they dodged all the questions and made several excuses NOT to meet there. The sales team made it seem that they were so busy and finalizing a meeting was almost impossible. After finally scheduling a meeting at a Starbucks in Mission Vijjelo  with Michael. .. the owner was able to establish a face to the company. He was all smiles and was a man in his late 50's who seemed to have a lot of charm and experience.

After the meeting, they agreed that we were a good it for the company and they wanted us to overnight them the check and all the materials/samples. Upon going over the contract our legal team wanted to add a clause in there also requested their entity number or tax id number. There was a variety of excuses "Our accountant is on maternity leave", "In all these 15 years of business we have never been asked that" and they almost seemed offended that we even dared ASK for their company information.

Fortunately we were smart enough to look them up online, and found NOTHING registered. Red Flags everywhere. When we pressed the issue, they backed down and suddenly refused to do business with us. That is when we found this report online. We are adding to it and will take this up with the local press. It is appalling that people are so deceptive. For all new companies out there DO NOT TRUST This man. He is a con artist and had we not been cautious we would have got scammed too!
