POSTED: Tuesday, February 12, 2013The client has alopecia, she came in with a picture of a style that she wanted. In her initial consultation she was advised that she would not be able to get this style because of her alopecia and we advised her to get our Platinum weave which comes with a net because of her condition.
The stylist did a great job on the client's head and it looked amazing. After receiving service, client said she was displeased because her hair was nothing like the picture she brought in and she was not paying anything until she get it done like the picture. We apologized and it was explained to her again, that she could not get the look in the picture because she had to get a closure because of her condition.
She refused to let the lead stylist evaluate to see if there was anything else we could do other than the style in the picture. She declined and still refused to pay for her service she received. She was told that if she refused to pay for services, that this will be considered theft of service and the police would be called, and she said ok.
The manager called the police and after waiting for 1 min the client grabbed her purse and coat and ran out the door. The police arrived and was given her name, tag and phone number. It was only after the police was contacted that the client claimed that she left urgently to go to the ER because her sew-in was too tight.
She never mentioned at anytime during her visit while in the salon that her hair was too tight and it was causing her to become ill. Her only complaint was that it was not anything like the picture, repeatedly.
We regret that it had to get to this point. But, in truth the client received a service and there was nothing wrong with her hair she looked great. We strive to make sure that all our customers receive great customer service and are pleased with the services received. We are truly sorry that this client was not satisfied with services received and that we were unable to please her.
