Corporate Advocacy Program™
The advertising home sales pitch is just a ploy... there is no advertising budget, its just a way to make you feel like you are getting a good deal... The reality of it is that the windows are so over priced, that they can drop thousands of dollars.
Next, the people who come to your door are actually sales people, not advertising reps. They are on comm. and they dont have any other advertising homes in the area... Its all a lie!!!
The basic goal is to get you to sign the first night, and they will do anything... They will tell you that they can finance you at any price... Well if you get 17,000 dollars worth of windows at 150 dollars a month... thats alot of financing... how many years will that be??? plus the usual rate is over 10%... how is that worth it...
Another thing is dont be blow away by the glass... Several other companys produce the same glass for less money... They say the miracle glass is one of a kind... its actually just a standard low-e glass... in the sample kits they bring to the house the glass is actually thicker then what is really used... this is why you cant feel heat through the glass during the demo... Also the glass breaks with ease... dont be fooled by the nail!!!
Things to watch out for:
1- Custom windows- no such thing... a double hung is a double hung... there isnt a difference in size between 34 and 36 inch window... ever company does a standard frame.
2- Glass- ever piece of glass has a pressure point... it all breaks so dont be fooled...*****Miracle glass does not met code as tempered glass!!! it costs alot more!!!*****
3- Warranty- the warranty is only trans. to the next owner... Not for the life of the home...
4- Dont be fooled by give aways... its built into the costs
The glass is not anything special... Other companies make the same product...

I dont think WP was a good deal at all.

POSTED: Wednesday, April 25, 2012After a "no-show", the expert named TOM showed up for pictures. Tom advised there is a definite situation with the window installation which can be seen from the outside of the windows. The water sits on the ledge and goes in and
underneath the flashing. Today, I followed up with James from Green Eco Solutions. He advised he will get paid from the "fund" for sending his expert to my home but is not using money from this fund to repair the warranty issue. Regardless of what the expert told me, James feels there is no relatedness between the initial installation and water coming in at the window sill. James was insulting while I remained calm and courteous. James even threw insults and claimed I am uneducated. Meanwhile, I just want my windows fixed so that my boys can breathe safely.

POSTED: Monday, November 28, 2011He is full of colorful "stories" - most people would call them BOLD FACE LIES!!!!
So please take what he says about this company for what it's worth...NOTHING!!!
He's not from this area, but claims to have been here over a decade. In the past decade hasn't been able to maintain any relationships - personnally or professionally!!! NO FRIENDS or FAMILY or CONNECTIONS!
THAT SPEAKS VOLUMNS ABOUT WHAT KIND OF MAN HE IS!

Ontario born guy in Pennsylvania... Not meet "code"! Have you ever worked for a Window Company?!
AUTHOR: sens - (United States of America)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, June 15, 2010
POSTED: Tuesday, June 15, 2010They do, and for a good reason. Their product surpasses others, sorry but that is the truth. They now offer a "Neat" glass, of which surpasses the former "Miracle" glass, he needs to get his facts straight! Their warranty also surpasses others. If you want all the bells and whistles, that is up to the homeowner! How many other companies offer self cleaning windows?!? Quality and delivery.
The comment about sales strategy is a moot point. All businesses and companies know that when the sale is made with the least effort, more money is earned. One deal, one meeting, one shaking of the hands. This is a science in sales that has been well established over time, what on Earth is this guy rambling on about?
Yes, finance 17K for windows that will save your home, save yourself, and save your money, while increasing the value of your home... wah.. wah.. wah! I could poke at using spell check, however I will close with this... Perhaps this Pennsylvania Native Ontario Lad might live through a Hurricane one day, then come see me! And have some other companies windows in his home, down here! Testimonials speak for themselves!

POSTED: Tuesday, February 17, 2009ALL replacement windows from whatever window place you buy it is custom made. when they measure your opening for a size then thats the exact size you get. thats custom made. Yes alot of companies make a standard size but it may be a little too small or a little to big. the heat lamp test is not a scam. been there dont that. worked an expo once with a window that didnt let heat in. alot of people didnt beleive it untill they burned there hand on the lamp, lol.
you should have done your research first. and got 2 other estimates. yes you can buy a replacement window at home depot for $140 not installed. but you get what you pay for. i have installed them also in a customers duplex. he picked up the windows i installed them. 2 yrs later he hates them. no savings on heat. window doesnt operate smooth anymore. screens fallen apart. vinyl cracking.
I could go on and on. you should have found a window company that will install the window you want after researching windows. and a company that doesnt have sales person. thats how they get paid so yes its gonna cost more(no scam) he has to get paid too.

PETTY DISPUTE or THOSE WHO LIVE IN GLASS HOMES SHOULD NOT TOSS ROCKS
AUTHOR: Chltsalesguru - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, February 03, 2009
POSTED: Tuesday, February 03, 2009Ben Torres is the gentleman who is claiming all types of dismay at The Window Pros. Ben is an ex-employee whom I have worked with. I do not want to kick up any dust here, but I will say, there is a VERY good reason as to why Ben Torres is an EX EMPLOYEE.
I will simply provide a few facts for any readers to digest.
- Ben Torres owns his own Home Improvement Company www.benshomeimprovments.com
- Ben Torres is NOT registered with the local BBB.
- On the BBB web site his company, Bens Home Improvements, (or as he is listed here NCDECKS4LESS) has a C- rating.
Hmmmm, why would the BBB give him a C- rating? Here is the actual text from the BBB website:
BENS HOME IMPROVMENTS
BBB Rating C-
Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of C-.
Reasons for this rating include:
Number of complaints filed against businesses that were not resolved.
BBB does not have sufficient information to determine how long this business has been operating.
BBB does not have sufficient background information on this business.
Wow. Kind of looks like Ben is not really someone who runs his business well, doesn't it. Maybe Ben is the kind of guy who thinks by kicking up a little dust at another company's expense is a good way to generate business for himself.
By the way, I looked up The Window Pros, and they ARE with the BBB and they have an A- rating.
I don't work for The Window Pros any more, I have gone into business for myself, but I could not just sit here and watch someone try to burn another company unjustly.
Thanks for reading.

Pretty cowardly to make accusations without giving the company a chance to work with them.

Defamation of character
AUTHOR: Joseph Stoffey - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Thursday, September 27, 2007
POSTED: Thursday, September 27, 2007Remarks about the glass, the advertising program and such come from an individual who feels the need to hide behind a fake name and will not come forward to spend $ and file against the company. These allegations would fall under "bate and switch" tatics and would be very serious issues with the legal system. Yet WP has none and this individual simply makes these unproven and unfounded remarks.
I have given this complaint to attorney Scott Allinson to find out who this person is and to take action? I lost a sale becasue of this only to have the customer after I spoke to her understand the motivation of the complaint and then continued to move forward with the contract! WP and its attorneys are taking this very serious.
This site not being a legal entity or government entity allows for this type of information to be posted without possible recourse. If I said that this person was gay or killed someone I could be sued for defamation of his/her character or more!!!. This person simply writes information with no validity and does not have to answer to anyone for it. I feel this is very wrong. I am willing to come to the table in a court room and clarify and clear every single meaningless accusation.
ARE YOU?
I remain a dedicated employer for over 20 years and my father, brother, sister and me take our family busienss very, very serious! If you attack it then you are attacking us! I can handel a service problem or a customer thought a door was one color and we ordered it wrong or an employeee is unhappy about a problem. You have 5 family members in this business and we can address and handle these daily but when soemone throws this out there and we cannot address it but in this forum it is very frustrating!
Again, I would so much enjoy the one on one to review each accusation and then as I prove them invalid a letter of retraction should be required. I ask for your full name and address and phone like I GAVE MINE so we can speak in person and not hide behind fake names. Just that alone should make everyone question how valid these complaints are. The business owner is KNOWN!! The individual writing this is not.
AS I review the bullet points in the complaint, I can see this individual is extremely confused. All windows are 34 or 36 inches, no such thing as custom made. Several companies have the same glass. This is just a disgruntled employee of which I understand being a business owner. It is going to happen but when you make up such false information and simply just send it to anyone who will listen is not fair to the business man.
Sincerely
Joe Stoffey
