Ordered set of brake pads (front and rear), struts, shocks, and headlight wiper blades for a volvo C70. Recieved two sets of brake pads (two front and two rear), shocks, and headlight wiper blades. Company has not returned correspondence as two how to resolve the $82 worth of unordered parts (brake pads) nor on how to resolve their claim of a completed order when I'm still missing $242 worth of paid for mechandise (struts).

I kept all shipping materials and labels to prove that the items listed in the box did not match the wieght nor the volume capacity of the boxes shipped. ThePartsBin.com has a shipping disclaimer:

"All items purchased from our website are made pursuant to our shipping terms, which are F.O.B. shipping point. This means that that risk of loss and title of any item is passed to you at the shipping point, which is when the carrier accepts the goods for transport."

The incorrect weight and volume prove that the item was never put in the box, not stolen out of the box.

Recieved Parts

AUTHOR: Ben in arkansas - (U.S.A.)

ThePartsBin.com finally contacted me on Friday, 29 May, via phone and a representative informed me that my parts were being rushed to me. My parts were shipped over the weekend, and I recieved them on Monday, 1 June.

There definately was a rush in terms of packaging. The previous three packages I recieved were composed of an outer shipping container (cardboard box) with packing inside to ensure no damage during shipping. The parts themselves were in their own individual boxes inside the outer container. The struts were sent in their own boxes, tapped together. The outer condition of these combined boxes is very rough. There is no packing material within these boxes either. The end of one box is opened, exposing the part inside. I wish there was a way to upload some pictures.

Fortunately for me, struts are very sturdy. I have not done a thorough inspection yet, but I'm not expecting to find any damage.

Have not recieved shipping label yet to return extra parts.

Still no customer service

AUTHOR: Ben in arkansas - (U.S.A.)

Used ThePartsBin.com's Live Help. A chat window appeared with what appeared to be a real person on the other end. I described my problem and asked about how to resolve the issue and recieved a referal to the company's toll free number with a reminder to save ThePartsBin.com in my list of favorites for my future autoparts needs. Not very live nor very helpful.

Called the toll free number at 1735 CST. Waited on hold for 22 minutes 5 seconds for a live person to introduce themselves twice, say they couldn't hear me, and suggest calling back before being hung up on.

Still no response from email attempts.
