I saw the report from Janice on your website when I was trying to find a name of an executive officer at EducationDirect that I could go to with my complaint, which is identical to Janice's. I too have not received lessons, in my case it has been six months. I, too, was told that if I paid everything up front I would get all my lessons.

Before signing up with the firm I told them I had no computer and it took me a long time to get to the library, so that inputing test answers would not necessarily coordinate with the actual work completed, but I would still want my lessons sent so I could work on them as my time allowed. They said no problem.

As it turned out, this is a huge problem. I must call every month and beg for lessons, and as I have said, nothing has arrived in six months tho I was told a month ago a lesson was on its way. At this rate I will never finish, and you must pay for extensions past the first one. Some of them give as an excuse that I have not finished some of the long written projects they attach to the lessons. No, I haven't.

I do not have the time often to do that, and was planning on taking a couple months to do that toward the very end of the course. This is home study because, as they themselves advertise, you do it as you are able to. I am not asking them to falsify grades! Just send me what I am paying for, and stop taking my money and making excuses. I have not paid in two months, and will start when I get something I have paid for.

I have received a note from their credit department, but that department never communicates with the others I have found as I had another different issue. And this is a huge problem with this company. It is like technical support on the internet, only worse.

Every time you call you get a different first level person, and there is no communication between the different departments, so regardless of what the last person tells me I must fight every month the same battles. The company has things to recommend it. But it needs to address these problems.
