Thunderview Belgians - Chris Connell, Misrepresents horses he sells Libson New York

I bought a horse from Chris Connell without going to look at it first, I have bought horses out of state without going to look and had positive experiences.

He sounded like a nice old man who has been in business awhile and i couldnt find any negative comments about him on the web. He answered an ad i had looking for a belgian for a beginner.

After i got her i found out she is not even close to beginner safe,she wasnt even safe to lead around, let alone ride. She went through one of my wood fences. She had no respect for people at all.

She also had a large,baseball size, soft swelling on the front of her back pastern that i was never told about. He says shes had it for awhile and he forgot to tell me. Vet says he dont know what it is,That she needs x-rays/Raidographs

She is also a couple hundred pounds under weight and in bad need of a farrier. After calling him a dozen times he finally agrees get someone to pick her up
3 weeks later.

It took 6 months to finally get most of my money back, He still owes me $250 that he says he wont return because of the gas money to pick her up 2.5 hours away..

I feel he still owes me the money because he misrepresented the horse, didnt tell me about her medical problems and i fed her alot in 3 weeks. I had to pay to repair my fence and he is lucky i was not injured by her.

I want to warn people about him so hopefull no one else will have to go through what i did. It was very stressful and i no longer trust horse sellers and will never buy sight unseen again.
