Time Warner Cable False Advertising, Poor Customer Service, Faulty Equipment, Poor Tech Service, PRoblem with Rewards Card Ohio
I recently signed up as a new customer with Time Warner Cable in July, 2013 bundling my TV, PHONE, INTERNET and from day one I have had issues. First I was quoted incorrect package fees by a third party company they use to answer phone calls, then they moved up installation which resulted in an issue with my phone and had to wait several days to be resolved, they also did not bring me a Wi-Fi modem at first, had to wait for that, as for the cable tv, had issues from the get go. Right after installation, DVR stopped working and saw black instead of the show, had poor signal strenght, sent 4 different techs out to fix multiple reoccuring issues. These 3rd party Techs are CRAP. SOme were lazy and did not clean up or properly install cabling outside on house. Installed a Booster in home, then disconnected booster on another service call because was messing with signal, now have this booster and cabling running in basement that don;t even need. Had to have DVR replaced 3 times and one regular tV box replaced too. Keep having pixel scrambling issues and freezing for short time.
Well when I signedf up there was a package bundling deal for TV, PHONE, INTERNET and receive $200 Visa Rewards CArd. Just checked the status and it is only for $50. I spent 4 hours on hold, etc on the phone yesterday with them and a manager Jennfer ID#163148 was supposed to call me back after her existing phone call. NEver heard anything. Called again this morning and got a different lead in another state and he is trying to resolve this. THIS IS A COMMON ISSUES I am discovering after googleing TWC REwards Card complaints.
Becuase of all the problems it is starting to feel as if I am being Harrassed and ROBBED by the biggest scam artist known as TIME WARNER CABLE. Thjey have to be held accountable. I found well over 200 complaints on BBB against Time Warner for a wide range of issues, not to mention the 4,337 friends on a Facebook PAge called TIME WARNER CABLE S*CKS.
If they do not have to held accountable for False Advertising, blatent lies, skecthy customer service and over all poor business practices, then what is to keep others from doing this.
If an individual would run somethine like this, they would be a scam artist and wanted by the law. Why is it Time Warner Cable can treat all customers this way and get away with it.
