Told the owner of this Scam window tinting and security alarm store on the phone the precise year, model, etc. of my car and he quoted me one thing for window tinting.  I took off work without pay to meet with him as per our appointment.  Dropped off car and returned a few hours later.  He never touched the car and wanted 4 times as much as he quoted me on the phone as per the specific model, etc. In the end, the job did not get done and I lost $250 for lost work time.  This guy is a RipOff!

I agree with you Joey. I see it all the time. Business owners who are decreasing in sales have found a new habit of exploiting competition in order to "boost" their customer service. Actually, fake accusations such as "Mr. Rik" (such a typical name of choice), can find himself in court charges if an ex-employee decides to "snitch" or "squeal" them out. Not such a smart choice. Good job on your research Joey. Guess they will rethink before posting fake accusations once more.

Hello I am employed Tint land at Wilton manors, Florida.  After being notified about this incident i have done gone over all records, reviewed all surveillance.  After In-depth research i have concluded at the customer never existed and the occurrence has been completely falsified.

This situation has happened before. After several hours of investigation the culprit was one of our competitors.   Your website should not be used to facilitate our competitions disturbing ways of doing business.

I would like to file a complaint against any party whomever allowed such heinous accusations be made and posted without any evidence.  I would also like to request that this atrocious post be removed in a timely manner.  

Please contact me with notification on how this matter is being handled with either how the miscreants are being reprimanded or simply that the post has been removed.  Thank you for your time and understanding in the matter.

I wouldn't give a d**n either.

But if your gonna represent yourself as the creme of the crop, and say things like:

-"we are at the liberty  to pick the quality of the customer and their vehicle"

and

-" we say no to customers with older cars and keep to servicing only high end sport-luxury-custom vehicles."

I think you should not sound like a stupid a*s when you post here.

And if all your prices are set in stone as you claim why would you even make statements like that???

I was starting to give you the benefit of the doubt till you posted that garbage.

 TO rebuttal the posters claims-lets look at the facts and what was stated in their claim.

  They spoke to the owner on the phone and got a price quote then after 4 hours of drop off and no work DONE TO THEIR AUTO >>poster claims the owner and referred to the owner as   "HE"   ASKED for  4 times more than THE ORIGINAL price that was quoted over the phone!

   EITHER THE POSTER IS MISTAKEN as to were their car was droped off  for service or this is an employee of another tint shop in the area making false claims due to their of work to keep them busy!
  #1 by the grace of god we are super busy even threw the recession-    So since every  auto very's in the amount of time to complete- We dont dont set or accept appointments like the poster claims they showed up for--
 we operate from 8:30 am to 11:00am 7 days aweek on a first come first serve system- and cars are left all day- than are ready for pick up by 6pm due to the high volume of the cars we do daily and  We must adhere to high quailty installation  standards for llumar and ISO certified status------ by 11:00am- 95% of the time the store is maxed out as to the number of car we can take in.
 between 4:00PM-5:30 PM WE WILL TAKE IN A MAX OF 5 MORE CARS FIRST COME FIRST SERVE to remain over night for service from are night tinters and ready for pick up the next morning and still never a appointment will be set.    SO the original poster claiming they had a appointment is a false statement to bad mouth this company or they were at our competition's store that does business by a very similar name  > Tint world 
  #2 POSTER CLAIM'S THEY SPOKE TO THE OWNER and referred to the owner as he--false this company is female owned.
#3 POSTER CLAIMS THAT THE OWNER [again reffered to as he] rised the price 4 timeS the quote - FALSE> the counter sales staff is female so again the poster is confused or a troll.
 #4 poster claims they lost $250 in 4 hours of work lost the day this was to have occured.
     IN this economy who make's $62.50 a hour and cant drop a luxury car off all day that someone making $62.50 a hour would most likely be driving??????? and take a cab back to work and not hang around like the poster claims----or have their car portered over for service?

 we are a semi exclusive shop that operates  on a first come first serve bases- for celebrites & wealthy clients further more we are at the liberty  to pick the quality of the customer and their vehicle we choose to work on daily-we are that busy that we say no to customers with older cars and keep to servicing only high end sport-luxury-custom vehicles.
   #5-troll you have our correct address and phone # reported on this page-but you screwed up by posting the name to a entirely different company-- WE are registered with the state of fla and on our federal tax ID certificate as  Tint land & Sound INC and with broward county consumer affairs AS THE SAME NAMED COMPANY ----What you named us as is> TINT LAND SOUND&SECURITY<     hahahaha if you did your home work before your boss told you to go on line and trash other shops in your spare time--you would have found out from research that the shop you called "US" Is located clear on the other side of broward county . U Idiot.

  To rebuttal this report.
 first tint land has been doing buisness for 32 years in the same location and is LLumars #1 dealer in the south east-that can be confirmed by visiting www.llumar.com.
WE only use high quality llumars materials period and our prices ARE all set at $159 for 2 and 4 door cars in ATR METAL film--$200 for ALL cars in carbon based films and $230 for ceramic films-period and that price does not change unless theres old tint that has to be removed that the customer did not inform us of!--- further more the price over the phone is the same price displayed on our llumar pricing boards!!!!!!!
 WE are also a full computerized shop which means no razor blades ever touch a customers car or truck.

 this rip off report is clearly posted by ANOTHER SHOP from their management to bad mouth this company and is the penny anna crap they pull when sitting around with no work.
 all CUSTOMERS SIGN A SALES ORDER HERE FIRST BEFORE WORK IS STARTED-AND price agreed to--there is no way a  job would be priced at one price over the phone and than 4 times higher.  

  32 years in the same location and 10-15 tint jobs aday speak for it self.
