So, I brought my vehicle to get an alignment done after I removed the bumper cover on my car because i was waiting for sport bumper cover to come in and plus wanted to replace the cooling hose while the cover is off the vehicle. After I brought my vehicle to this location they placed it on the rack and started doing alignment and later came up to me and claimed that its not possible to do anything because this car was wrecked (this car was never involved in an accident) and the entire frame needs to be adjusted!!! I listened to the guy he went on and on trying to explain to me what could've happened and that the frame shop would need to adjust it before they can even do an alighment and he left. His boss came back later on claiming the same that this vehicle must have been wrecked pretty badly and charged me for an aligment and told me once the frame shop adjusts the frame they can do the alignment for no charge again..

So, I trusted them after they sounded like they knew what they're talking about and i took my car to the frame shop to get it checked out. I left my car at the frame shop and 3 hours later they called telling me that my vehicle is fine and that all it needs is a lower control arm in the front.. I didn't know these guys and so i decided to try another frame shop and they checked it the vehicle and they told me same thing and asked me if i want to get the control arm replaced because they can do it. I was ok with ok and had them replace the control arm for me..

Took the car back to Tires Plus told them that this car does not have a frame issue and provided all the report i got from the frame shop and so they lifter the vehicle up again and came back later claiming that my rear wheel bearing is loose and they can't do an alignment unless its replaced!! Repair cost $400. I declined and took the car to the local shop close to my house and had them check the vehicle. They came back and told me that nothing is wrong with my vehicle and that someone loosened the big bolt in the middle of the wheel holding the wheel bearing in plus and now its tight again and i should be good to go...

After all this NEGATIVE experience with Tires Plus in hopkins i decided to try the one in Minnetonka, gave them my name explained the issue and the first response i get is that my vehicle was damaged and badly wrecked and they don't want to get involved or look at it and cause any problems and so i asked for their manager nice gentelman honestly forgot his name but talked to him, explained the issue and he said he has this mechanic with 20-25 years of experience and he will let him handle it..

Well I sat there as they checked the vehicle and half hour later that mechanic told me that the front is fixed and he adjusted left rear tire but can't understand whats wrong with the right rear tire and that he set it to max and that still did not help anything and told me there is nothing else they can do at this point!!!

Frustrated and lost i took my vehicle to Sears Auto in Minnetonka to get it checked.. Shared the frustration and what i have been through and 20 minutes later one of the mechanics came back and told me that the lower control arm in the back is bent and if I replace it they would be able to do the alignment.. So, i had thme replace the lower control arm and redo the alignment and now my car is straight and has no other issues...

I can't believe that mechanics at neither Tires Plus location could not tell that the control arms needed to be replaced and claimed that it is a frame issue even after i provided all the reports i got from the frame shops and then they loosened the wheel bearing forcing me to pay $400 to get that replace and second tires plus couldn't figure out that i needed the lower control arm for the rear wheel??? I will NEVER take my car there again and i hope those poor people that trust their cars to them stopped doing that once and for all!!! After reading online this company is full of crap and it looks like thousand of people are suffering from this company's mess.....

dosen't make sense

How did your control arm get bent? They don't bend by themselves, did you hit something? Sport bumper? sounds like a hot rod if you are changing bumper covers. If you hit something did you tell them? if I saw your car with the bumper cover off i would assume you had been in a wreck. I might have told you the frame was bent also, and i have 18 years exp. Some people fail to tell the tech the full story and this causes mis diagnosis and time and frustration. Should he of found the problem? YES, but a bent arm will mimick a bent frame. How do you tell if the frame is bent, the distance form the front wheel to the rear wheel on both sides should be the same.(called setback) i feel you are being unfair because he made a mistake, do you think a guy with 25 years exp. is happy he missed the problem? I bet you never make mistakes. Take a chill pill and quit hasseling this poor guy. If you have to put body parts on your car to make it look good i wouldn't want to work on it.
