Tires Plus Jerry too good for a simple alignment Zephyrhilla Florida

I recently bought a set of front tires from Walmart. I needed an alignment so I called around and got a few prices I ended up choosing Tires Plus who offered an alignment for 34.99.

The next day I called to see if they were busy at 11:30. Jerry the one who answered said they had an opening so I brought my car up and to my surprise I had a line in front of me so I waited. An hour passed and they still hadn't gotten to my car. So I told them I had to go for a short while and to call me when they finished the alignment.

Three hours later they called and told me I needed new brake pads, brake fluid, and a few things. I told them just worry about the alignment I'll worry about the other things later. I arrived back at 4:45 and they had still not finished. Finally at 5:15 they said my car was finished. Jerry told me I needed 2 new ball joints and a new control arm which with labor would be around $600 also brake pads and everything would cost $266 and an alignment would cost $54. Altogether the estimate was $1082 and he said without a new control arm he couldn't do an alignment, but got it as close as he could. I wasn't charged for anything.

The next day I took my car to a friend for a second opinion. He said I didn't need ball joints and nothing had been done with my alignment. Total cost for a control arm brake pads and labor will be around $350.
