Chased down like a dog, huh?

AUTHOR: voiceofreason - (United States of America)

I'll bet the average dog would pay his bills on time, so the odd dog here and there that wouldn't would actually be chased down like a human deadbeat.

You need to pay or...

AUTHOR: MochaG - (United States of America)

They attempt to solve the problem -- late payment -- before they repossess your car. You are 2 payments late and it is your responsibility to get it straight. However, it seems that you are in denied and do not see that the cause of this problem is actually from yourself. If they cannot collect what you owe them, you will lose your car very soon. Then you may come back here and complaint that they stole your car?

I'd suggest...

AUTHOR: Striderq - (U.S.A.)

finding a way to get current on your payments and then stay current. Calls and visits may be the least of your worries as they can legally take possession of your vehicle per the contract you and/or your husband signed. But then I guess you'll post about them stealing your car.

No, not like a dog

"I dont need people chasing me down like a dog."

You are two payments behind so apparently you need to be chased down like a deadbeat.

What a "terrible company"....

AUTHOR: Ken - (USA)

Now that they loaned you the money (after you signed the agreement) you're unhappy because they want YOU to live up to that contract and pay on time, every time.

Two payments late is a serious default and they have every right to try to collect what's due them.

I would bet this isn't the first (or last) time this will happen to you.  You would ONLY get money from them in the first place,  if you were deadbeats.

Trying to collect

AUTHOR: OnTheSidelines - (United States of America)

So... let me get this straight.

You are BEHIND on your payments, and the company is trying to collect by calling you, and showing up at your home.

If they are really calling you several times a day, all you have to do is tell them not to call you at that number anymore.  After that if they call, then they are harassing you.

The contacts?  You probably listed them as a reference for the loan.  Now your friends know what kind of responsible person you think you are but are not.

Pay the bill already, don't borrow money if you can't pay it back.

Your putting us on right...

AUTHOR: Robert - (U.S.A.)

We told them we will pay them when we can
-
You have to be joking, I mean no one would actually post on a PUBLIC web site that they should be allowed to pay them what they want when they want.

Well on the off chance you actually believe this, once you sign the agreement you don't get to decide when to pay them or how much.  That is all in the documents you signed.  If you fail to pay them on the terms you made a legal agreement to do..they can(and most likely will) repossess your car.
