Tlc Pet Transporttion And In-Home Inc Jet A Pet Claimed to give me there cat and went through fake angecy called Tlc Pet Transport And In-Home Care Inc and had me pay flight arragements $130 and then said kitten was in New York and being held havin Dayton/Portland, Ohio

I live in Canada in Ontario and my husband and I were on a website called Kijji and we found a beautiful Ragdoll 9 week old kitten. She was white with a light dusty grey outline on her ears and tail, a bright pink nose and crystal blue eyes. She was suppose to be for free coming from St Catherines, Ontario.

When emailing Jimmy Patrick (owner of kitten) he said we could have her but he had just gotten a job promotion and was now in Portland USA. But he was gonna go to Tlc Pet Transport In- Home Inc and have her sent to us directly. He told us we would have to pay the $130 to send her out.

We did that and sent the money using Western Union. We then received all her flight info and new when to expect her. Instead of waking to a kitten, I woke to an email stating that she is being held at LaGuardia airport in New York and we need to now pay $750 to put insurance on her and they gave her more tests and stuff.

The airport has no idea what were talking about. All flight info is real, however there is no animals on any of these airlines. We called other Tlc agencies in the area of that airport to find out we had in fact been scammed.

It makes me sick that people are out there and take advantage of people like this. Get there hopes up and then rip there hearts out and have no remorse. My family and I are heartbroken over this. And we are still being threatened by them saying if we don't pay within 24hrs she will be abandoned and we will face a huge fine for animal cruelty.
