Cricket

POSTED: Thursday, September 29, 2011You talk about racism yet you are degrading an employee for having broken English which in it's self is nothing but racism on your part.
I use this store every month for bill pay or tech support for my phone and NEVER have I seen anyone threatened. For you to say this is slanderous at least.
If you don't like Cricket go get a phone somewhere else. It's not going to hurt their business.

Solution

POSTED: Friday, July 29, 2011From your report it looks like you were trying to get a refund for the product (phone) after the 30 days return period. Both companys' (Cricket and Tobacco&Phones4Less) exchange/return policy clearly states that any phone can be returned only within 30 days and 30 min of talking time in the original package. If one of those conditions is not met, customer is not qualified for cash back.
As for the "racist statements" you claimed to record, it is hard for me beleive in. However you had all rights to go to the court or at least contact corporate management at 72&Dodge St. to take care of the issue. As a TFL's long-time employee I can assure you would not see that sales person at the store any more.
Based on the fact that no measures were taken, I assume this report is nothing more but an attempt to use racial question as a tool to pressure company into giving you some free products or an extra compensation you are not qualified for.

Racism???
AUTHOR: Terry - (United States of America)

POSTED: Thursday, December 10, 2009I used to work for Tobacco and Phones 4Less and I have to say your story shocked me. If you could not understand the salesperson during the purchasing process, why you did not ask to get help from somebody else. As I know all their stores have two american employees in every shift. But once you bought a phone you agreed to all conditions. To get any kind of rewards of Cricket you probably had to fill up and send a sheet that can be accessed online. You really can not blame associates for following the policy if they refused to give you refund at the spot.
Regarding racism issues, that doesn't sound like a true story at all. That company has 70% of African-American customers. It is just not beneficial for them to spoil the reputation because of one phone. I have never heard anybody saying nothing even close to that. When we were getting training the first thing we got taught is "Customer First".

Not Racists...

POSTED: Wednesday, May 13, 2009If you happened to be at the 41st and Dodge store, you are correct, there are a few Tajik's that work there who are difficult to understand, next time you go there (if you decide to go back) ask for Jon. He is the manager there and is very helpfull. There are a few people that work there who claim to be the manager and aren't. They just say that so that they don't have to go through the trouble of having to call the manager and ask him what to say or do.
Also the stores on 90th and Maple, and 72nd and Military have mostly Americans who work there and are obviously more easy to understand.
Hope this helps.

They Hire Illegal's
AUTHOR: Anonymous - (U.S.A.)
SUBMITTED: Tuesday, July 01, 2008
POSTED: Tuesday, July 01, 2008I have first hand knowledge that this company intentionally and willingly hires illegal aliens, mostly visa overstayers. 4108 Dodge St employes many women from turkmenistan, tagikistan, and others in that region. This company pays them under the table. I personally knew someone who worked there and was told many things about this company. I wish there is something I could to do stop them.
Now, there business is expanding and remodeling at record speed. I know that it has to do partly because of there use of cheap labor.
