The auto care super save sold by top gun promotions is a scam. They are door to door salesman pretending to be in college selling great deals for auto care. THIS IS A SCAM! The top gun promotions collects 80.00 for every card they sell and the shop gets nothing. Hmmm. sounds pretty dumb to me. I bought one and the shop told me they stopped taking them over a year ago. I called my credit card company and the CC company gave me a credit and charged back these criminals.

What a bunch of fricken losers that go door to door selling something they might have 2.00 dollars in for 80 bucks. Ripoff!

Professional Auto Care Program Since 1988

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

Im sorry to hear this customer wasnt happy with their promotion they purchased. We represent over 500 automotive centers nationwide and we are responsible for distributing and the sales for the promotion. It has a great value and customers purchase them to save money, find a new place to trust with theier vehicle and hopefully become a long term customer. Unfortunatly if the service center doesnt take care of the customer (as it seems in this case) then we gladely refund the money to the customer if its within a certain time frame as listed on each promo card or we will switch out the card for another shop in the area. This paticular customer wasnt interested in either option. Thank you Jim for your feedback. We tried to work with you but you opted just to complian rather than take a new card for a different shop.

Thank you

EX super-star salesman for Top Gun Promotions chimes in:

AUTHOR: Nullus - (U.S.A.)

I worked for this company long enough to see some very questionable practices. You'll understand if I wish to stay somewhat anonymous. I wish I could divulge more info for you, but I don't want to expose myself here. If i could, however, tell you my status in the company upon my departure, you would no doubt believe every word I say. Here's the beef:

2 for 1's were used frequently as a last ditch effort. [Company advice is that 3 out of 5 sales should be 2 for 1's.] There is a $20.00 off deal that can be employed also if you need to save the sale.

The 3 day cancellation is VERY hard to attain. If you can nail them down, you may get your money back, but they make it so difficult [by not answering the phone] that most just forgo the $87.54 to be done with it. DO NOT GIVE UP. If you stay vigilant you will win. Eventually.

Top Gun keeps NO records other than your payment information. Most the information, [address, email, phone numbers, etc.] gets thrown haphazardly into file boxes or cabinets never to be seen again.

The control numbers are all the same. This is to give the impression of control and organization. [Also to deter theft as many of the "contractors" do have criminal records and/or drug dependencies.]

The salesmen generally have no knowledge of these discrepancies, [for a while at least] so please do not take it out on them. Most of them are just college kids trying to earn a living. These salesmen ["independent contractors"] make anywhere from $20.00 - $200.00 per week and they get beat up verbally all day long to get that. Anything else is most likely a lie.

Top Gun exploits young, in-experienced kids to sell these wares and takes them for MUCH more than any customer. If any investigation needs undergoing, it should be one for the unfair labor practices of the company. For each card sold your average salesman gets $15 or $20. Thats $60 pure profit per card. The salesmen use their own cars, gas, and everything else they need to sell this card. The VP, Owner and others pay for nothing, and what's worse: they 1099 all of them.

As for the hiring policies, managers have been told explicitly, "Don't bother with the girls, they never work out anyway." I won't go into detail, but if you aren't white, male, and clean cut, your chances of getting hired are very diminished.

Now, I used one of these cards once. The card says "FREE", yet I still had to pay 40 more dollars to effect my services. In summation, the card really is a rip-off, the salesmen are getting scammed as well as the consumer. I am very sorry I worked there for so long and wish to apologize to every person I may have conned.

In short: everything that is said about them here is more or less true.

"EX-INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR" FIRES BACK!!!

AUTHOR: Advanced Advertisding - (U.S.A.)

Well Mr. vpof"TOPGUNPROMOTIOS". Yeah, I know you remember that sign because you signed off on it without even checking the spelling and displayed it in front of the building like an illiterate moron. but to start off, "NO THANK YOU" for my time spent with top gun promotions. I'm sorry to say that I was ever a part of this company, but for every client I take from you now and make it right with, I feel I'm buying back a piece of my soul that I sold while working with you. Yes, after that statement, you should have a very good clue as to who I am. Over the last three years I've, as a one man operation, have put integrity back into the door-to-door selling business with most of your ex-clients who swore, after dealing with you, would never attempt this form of advertising again, because of how bad top gun screwed them. The best part is, these guys are still my clients to this day, after 3 YEARS, and I'm just going to keep going down the list until you get the message that noone in TX wants top gun promotions around. That should be pretty clear after you and, we'll call him "T.N.", were ran off a parking lot in Frisco, (one of my clients), after you made a poor attempt to peddle your "AUTO CARE SCREW YOU SAVER" to them.

THE REAL TOP GUN PROMOTIONS!!

AUTHOR: Theonlyhonestd2dguy - (U.S.A.)

Jim and Scotty are right on their opinions with top gun promotions because not only have the people of Oklahoma been victimized by this company, the people in the great state of Texas continue to be victimized. I also use to work for this company for a number of years and in that time began to witness the shady dealings that went on behind the scenes and to this day still continue. Everthing from back-dating the purchase dates of the "AUTO CARE SCREW YOU SAVER', TWO-FOR-ONE'S, to "HAVING THE SAME CONTROL NUMBER ON THE BACK OF EACH CARD SO THERE'S NO WAY THE SHOP CAN TELL HOW MANY HAVE BEEN SOLD!!!!!!!" top gun has been pulling this crap for years and will continue to unless these shop owners start doing their research on a company "BEFORE" they sign a contract with them. It'd be pretty easy now to research top gun now because all you have to do is Google the company's name and all the juicy facts show up. The "vpoftopgunpromotions", in his attempts to defend the company, mentioning 100's of clients that they're respected by, but fails to give names and phone numbers of the clients to confirm his claim. By the way Mr. "vpoftopgunpromotions", if you decide to post after reading this and put up names and numbers of clients to call, I only ask of anyone else who reads this to contact any Kwik Kar in the DFW area, Keller Tire (in Keller TX.), any and all of the Christian Bros. Automotive retailers in DFW, the Kauffman Tire centers in DFW, and the Merlin's Muffler & Brake retailers in DFW. Wait.........the Merlin's chain is no longer in business..........wonder why??? Bottom line, top gun promotions is a group of locusts with no care of their clients which is why, like locusts, they move from town to town promoting their product under false claims that it will bring the shop more business which in fact it's what they're driving them out of.

Misunderstanding the concept and advertising cost vs return

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

Jim, First of all we advertise for hundreds of service centers across the country. This situation you were involved in involved a service center that was mis run and mis managed. The shop knew EXACTLY how the program worked, what their cost was, how many would be sold, how many would be givin away for free, and how to cancel the program at anytime. There is a contarct with all this information that you fail to realize. In this paticular situation the service center did very well with the promotion for the 1st 15 months and encouraged us to sell more. The (silent owner) released a manager and hired a new manger named Scotty who did not support the promotion. We immediatly cancelled all sales upon Scotty's request and only asked him to honor the existing customers that had purchased the promotion under good faith. He initially verbally agreed to honor the memberships and then after several months decided to make up some false claim that top gun promotions had no right to sell the memberships. Scotty was not there when the origional contract was established. Our company decided to stand behind every super saver sold and gave every customer that had any problems redeeming thier card a new super saver for another service center in the Edmond area. A very nice upscale shop i might add. I personally recommended to Scotty that he honor the promotions and the service center was under contract to do just that and if he continued to not honor the memberships he would probably run enough customers out the door and run the shop out of business. The shop did go out of business and it wasnt because we sold cards for the shop. Theses a lot more internal issues that caused that starting with the management decisions. In all my years in this business i have never seen a shop make decisions like this one to turn away hundreds of customers. We switched out hundreds of customers and not ONE called us back with any issues with the new shop In Edmond OK. Our promotion is a very successful tool for any service center to gain customers at a very minimual cost. Jim, without knowing the cost factors involved with advertising in this business or any business you fail to realize the tru benifets of this promotion. Companies that currently use this exact type of marketing are Terminex Pest Control, Olive Garden, Chilis, MLB Texas Rangers, Goodyear, Firestone, Midas, Pixxa Hut, Papa Johns, just to name a few. If you dont believe me search another successful world-wide company named smartcircle.com. I hope this helps the general public understand the situation and Jim's misconception of the entire promotion, our business and our services.

Use your real name!

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

Who is the vpoftopgunpromotions?

If your company is so great, then why do you have to jump through so many hoops to explain yourselves? Because your crooks and you know it. You call it advertising for a shop. Wrong, it's taking advantage of of shop owners who don't have a clue, and then praying on consumers with your "too good to be true" scam. You have absolutely nothing to lose in your proposition other than to print a cheesy card you sell for $89.95, and in many cases when people won't buy them you pull the 2 for 1 scam. What a deal!

Why don't you give up the con job and try to make a legitimate living. It wouldn't matter, you would be selling Shamwow's or a pill to put in the gas tank to save a million dollars, or tell me how to remove the spackle trapped in the colon walls.

Colon walls, see the corolation? People don't want your Shamwow!

Response to previous complaints and concerns. The real truth!

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

For Stephanie that called our office for customer service. We have a full time secratery who handles all customer service for 12 cities spreading over 7 states. It is very common for her to be on the phone with customers and the voicemail system picks up. We RETURN 100% of the calls. In some cases it can take 1-3 days to get a hold of a customer. All calls are documented so all customers who called within 3 business days will be givin a full refund. Stephanie was no exception. Her refund was given.
For the ex-employee Jonathon. Who is not really Jonathon.... because we did now have such a person contracted is most likely an independent contractor who was unsuccessful at our business. Like any commission sales based comission jobs it is 100% based on your ability to sell. We do not break the law. We do not contract knowingly with any unlawful person. We do not work in a pyramid system. If you call a manager earning comissions on his/her contactors a pyrmaid then thats your oponion. We do business with service centers such as Goodyear, Midas, Firestone, and many other well known service centers across the country. These are very reputable service centers. Keep in mind we are not servicing vehicles.. only advertising for the service centers.
As for Jim in Oklahoma, he is completely unaware of our contracts with our clients in the Oklahoma area and is only speaking from the hip. We have done nothing wrong, and have not done anything other than abide by our part of the contract we have with promotion service centers.
Top Gun Promotions has been in business since 1988 and remains highly respected by hundreds of clients and thousands customers across the country. Any concerns or comments are taken very seriouslly and can be directed to our website at autocaresupersaver.com. Thank you for your interest in Top Gun Promotions Inc.

Top Gun Promotions Investigation

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

I filed a formal complaint against Top Gun Promotions with the Oklahoma attorney general's office. I got a response back from the AGs office and they say there have been numerous complaints from consumers and shops as well. They assured me that there is an on going fraud investigation into Top Gun.

Never in my life have I come across a group of human feces such as Top Gun.

#14 Consumer Comment

They have 0 customer service. :(

AUTHOR: Stephanie A. - (U.S.A.)

I'm annoyed with myself for handing over a check to some random kid without doing proper research on the company first.

I live near Dallas, Texas where, as far as I know, the service shops don't have a problem honoring the SuperSaver packages that Top Gun Promotions peddles.

I bought a Goodyear Super Saver package on July 8, 2008. I paid with a check. After realizing that I already had similar services and discounts available through a Firestone package that I received for buying a new set of tires, I decided I should probably call and cancel my Super Saver package before they cashed my check.

I had post-dated the check by four or five days, and had been told by the salesman that I had a 3 day window in which to cancel if I chose. The back of the SuperSaver card confirmed this in fine print.

So, the day after I bought the SuperSaver package, on July 9, 2008, I called to cancel. The customer service number listed on the back of the card is, (972) 801-9496. I went through their automated system ("Press 3 for general customer service") and was immediately transferred to a voice mail box that said, "Sorry, we're currently out of the office or assisting other customers. Please leave a message and someone will get back to you shortly."

So, I left a message.

No one called back.

The next day, I called again. Again, I was immediately transferred to voicemail. I left another message. Again, no one called back.

A few hours later, I called again. It was the same run-around.

So, all in all, I called SIX times in three days, and EVERY time I was transferrred to voicemail where I left a message, but no one returned my call. My calls were ALL made on weekdays, most during normal business hours (noon, 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m., etc.). My 3 day cancellation window expired yesterday, and I still have yet to hear back from Top Gun Promotions.

In the last message I left on their system, I told them that their customer service sucks, and that their business practices are shady, and that I intended to tell anyone who would listen to avoid Top Gun Promotions like the plague.

Finally, I put a stop on the check I had given them. It cost me $30 to do it, but I'd rather donate my money to my banking institution than give these swindlers a penny.

It's pretty clever to offer a 3 day cancellation window and simply not answer the phone or return calls for two weeks or more. I'm sure they con people out of a lot of money that way. It's my suspicion that the automated voicemail system is just a cover for their elaborate con job-- I doubt anyone EVER answers the customer service line, because all the "servicing" Top Gun Promotions plans to do to the customer already occured back when the customer handed over their payment information (if you get my meaning). No legitimate company refuses to answer the customer service line. It's just shady.

I'm angry with Top Gun Promotions, but I thank them for teaching me a valuable lesson. I will never again hand over a check or credit card to any salesperson without taking the time to sit down and look up the reputation of the company online.

#15 UPDATE EX-employee responds

The solution is simple: Don't do business with "Top Gun Promotions" and Don't buy an "Auto Care Super Saver"

AUTHOR: Jonathan - (U.S.A.)

They are the lowest of the low. Very unprofessional on every level--from dealing with the shops, to their discriminatory hiring practices. Oftentimes they represent shops with very reputations and people end up having hundreds of dollars of damage done---all for taking their car in for an oil change! Shops oftentimes go out of business and then Top Gun's shoddy customer service takes forever to get back to people and often does not offer their money back or any solid solutions. They are highly manipulative and unfair people with highly abusive practices. It's also very much a pyramid scheme.

They do not do any background checks on their employees ("subcontractors"), so that person knocking at your door could very well be a convicted child molester or drug addict. Many of their "subcontractors" actually do have criminal backgrounds----after all, being a "door-to-door" salesperson is not exactly attractive work. Then they also do a good job of trying to take advantage of high school or college students----often hiring people just to throw them out there for a few days to see if they can make a few sales here and there. They will flier parking lots which end up getting littered----they do this despite many complaints and requests that they not do this. They also advertise in apartment complexes---urging their "subcontractors" to break laws and trespass in order to push a $90 coupon to a place that may or may not be in business and may or may not offer good service.

Ultimately, the days of the door-to-door salesman are gone. In this day and age, it's just not worth the risk to open your door to strangers----especially strangers who ask for your credit card number!

My advice? Do not work for "Top Gun Promotion" - and don't open their door if they knock, and certainly do not buy an "Auto Care Super Saver!"

Discrimination?

AUTHOR: Scotty Dee The Automotive Consumer Advocate - (U.S.A.)

Top Gun Promotions job ad and BBB of Arizona
I hope an attorney sees this and anyone that was denied a job from them after sending them their picture (see ad below). Also in response to them doing criminal background checks, all one has to do is go to superiorcourt.maricopa.gov and search the dockets. You may be surprised who you find there. The owner, president, vice president and secretary of Top Gun Promotions are all listed at cc.state.az.us. With regards to the Arizona Better Business Bureau, they do in fact have 13 complaints in 36 months. That's worked out to about 1 every 2 1/2 months and someone thinks that good? And for those people that have been discriminated against by them here is where you go ica.state.az.us. Just remember with all of the web address you must as the www. Good luck to all. Especially Top Gun Promotions, they're gonna need it.

#18 Consumer Suggestion

Top Gun Promotions is a group of flakes.

AUTHOR: Scotty Dee The Automotive Consumer Advocate - (U.S.A.)

I have never in my life been denied a copy of a contract from any vendor. Any reputable business who enters into an agreement of any kind should be able to request and receive a copy of an agreement from a vendor. Why can you not provide one?

The scam you run has offered the Stupid Saver cards to prospective buyers 2 for the price of one, forward dating the cards, and your sales people will represent themselves as employees of the business that you are using your con on.

You sir, are the reason Ralph is no longer in business. Top Gun was able to con a naive freshman shop owner into believing that your crappy promotion would be a good marketing tool. As it turns out, the former owner lost over $120.000.00 through your great promotion.

As it turns out, you have an even bigger problem. Apparently the hiring practices of your great company are discriminatory toward black applicants. One of your former employees stated that Top gun will not hire black people because according to him, Top Gun feels that most people will not respond well to door to door salesmen of color. Your discrimination toward certain applicants is going to be the downfall of your "great" company. Why else would you require a photograph with an application? Because you cannot legally ask for ethnicity group in an application.

Get a real job and quit being a bottom feeder before you are sued for your hiring practices.

Top Gun Promotions is taking care of every customer RM TIRES is refusing to honor

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

The contract RM Tires signed was a 2 year contract. Our contracts range from 1-5 years and varies depending on the shop. Your copy of the contract was kept by your store when it was signed. Your former owner/manager "Ralph" signed it and made a copy for your records. If you cannot find your store's copy then you need to just ask Ralph. What you fail to realize is your former owner /manager was responsible for the program. He approved everything, and we had contact with him up until the last card was sold. There were NO cards sold under your management. (scotty) You have refused to honor the memberships and we have taken care of every customer that has contacted us. We are the ones that are taking care of the customers. Scotty you have told me several times you dont believe in this type of advertising and your oponion is all yours and we at Top Gun Promotions respect that and are only asking you to honor what your previos manager signed up for. why dont you talk to him? what is he saying? Im sure his story and ours will match up. How would you even know what the contract says if you never saw it or signed it? When I received your 1st phone call i assured you we were not currently selling cards because the previous manager had mentioned to stop selling until we could meet in person and we did just that. If you should be mad at anybody for the program it should be the former owner/manager and not US! We have done nothing wrong and have gone out of our way to make it right for every customer you are refusing.

Top Gun is a very good con job.

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

It is now time for the feces to hit the fan. This is Scotty Dee. I have read the posts from the consumers and the defacation that tries ephemerally to justify their prolific con on unsuspecting shop owners and consumers who are preyed upon by door to door salesmen. The posts by the consumers who have been ripped off are accurate. The posts by Top Gun are the same typical nonsense that scam artists will use to convince consumers that they are legitimate.

The FTC, the Oklahoma Attorney General, the Oklahoma County DA, and our private attorney will resolve this issue once and for all. You cannot enforce an expired contract let alone one that a company cannot produce.

By the way, Mr. Top Gun, you give the impression that you are a marketing major based on your condescending remarks to other posts. I have never met a college educated marketing professional that could not spell correctly or use proper grammer in a sentence.

You better leave the State of Oklahoma.

No Contract No Deal

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

Scotty says you do not have a contract that you can produce, as did News 9 when they did their investigation. Scotty has told me that he has asked you for this "contract" and you said you lost it. So I did some of my own inveestigation and I have discovered your contracts with service centers are valid for one year. The agreement that the previous owner signed with you was in 2006. now you do the math!

Customer has a compete misunderstanding

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

Your obviouslly not a marketing major , nor do you understand the value of the average customer to a service center. Im not debating Scotty's knowlegde nor his experience, im saying he didnt have the right to cancel a contract he didnt sign up for. He walked in on the deal and just decided to pull the plug on all the deserving customers like yourself. Guess what? Sounds like your now a customer of Scotty's. And if you never would have been approached by our marketing company you and many others would be going to his competition.

In the next few years you , like most people will spend thousands of dollars mantaining thier vehcile with oil changes, tires, tune up.. etc... and the cost of scotty giving you a few free oil changes will be well worth his while. Next time you go to a professional sports event such as a NFL, NBA, you will at some point be givin a free tshirt or a free souvinier. Well guess what ... thats marketing.. they arent just handing those out because your a nice guy. One day you will realize what we do is simple marketing and its done at a very low cost compared to what service centers like goodyear's spend.

Again im not debating Scotty's credentials but he is obligated by contract to accept what RM TIRES agreed to. Good idea or bad idea isnt the point. They signed up and we did our part selling the memberships, now they need to take care of the customer. Hopefully anybody else reading this will see your choice of words is unappropiate and unprofessional and not even take you seriouslly anyway.

Top Gun is not honest or reputable.

AUTHOR: Eric - (U.S.A.)

If you bottom feeders at top gun are so d**n honest then why won't you refund my money like I asked you to? Instead you keep throwing it back at the shop and they don't sell your goofy cards, nor do they get any of the money YOU collect. The guy at the shop Scotty, is one of the best at repairing cars I have ever met. He has been around a long time and I doubt you want to piss him off.

I have filed my formal complaint with the FTC and they say the will be checking you scumbags out!

Being Honest is all we can do

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

Top Gun promotions is standing by our contract. RM Tires has a copy of the contract. They signed it and kept a copy. Its really to bad 1 person named "Scotty Dee" walks in as a so called "new owner" and decides to not take care of the customers that bought a VALID membership from the previous owner. His attitude towards customers is unbelievable and he will run this store out of business. Its to bad he cant see the opportunity he had to make many new customers and long time customers at that. Again Top Gun Promotions is making it right for every customer who Scotty turns down. Jim im sorry you are still dodging the truth concerning the whole program. The service center RM Tires is the one at fault. 100% at fault.

I would suggest you give people a refund. The news story that aired mentioned your 'contract" with the service center but you were unable to produce it and Top Gun said they lost it. How do you enforce a lost contract? What reputable business looses a contract and then tries to enforce it. Here is the bottom line, you people are crooks.

Top Gun Promotions is Crediable and Honest to all customers

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

You have to understand we sell a simple coupon card valid for free and discounts at a paticular service center. The service center chooses what they want as the offers. Of course we make suggestions but they ultimenty choose and sign off on it before we print or sell any promotional card to a customer.

Most if not all of the complaints concerning our company are due to the service center not providing service as promised (by contract) to a customer or performing bad service. We end up taking the blame mosty because people want their money back and we were the ones that sold the card and the shop generally just tells the customer "call top gun and get a refund" instead of taking care of the customer as they should. Keep in mind we are only talking about 1% of the service centers that we promote but one service center can make our company or our business bad. Jim in this paticular situation my previous comments have explained the legalities of our relationship between us and RM Tires.

We could just do what RM Tires is doing and send all the customers away and just make up some story like they did but we dont do business like that and are TAKING CARE OF EVERY CUSTOMER THAT PURCHASED A RM TIRE CARD AND EXCHANGING IT FREE OF CHARGE FOR ANOTHER SERVICE CENTER WITIN 2 MILES.

The service center that we are exchanging the cards for is a reputable and honest service ceter and has been mentioned on the news as a company that will take the cards. As for the BBB complaints, all i can say it agaim many of them are from customers who were not happy with the promotion because of the shop service or lack of... Although we try to respond to every BBb complaint bi or small if for some reason we dont respond, (usually because we were not aware of teh complaint) the BBB automatically gives you a unsatisfactory rating.

All in all we have been in business over 20 years and sold millions of cards coast to coast and if we have 20 or so compaints in the past 20 years on the BBB or other internet sites that is a extremely small number of people compared to the very satisified ones. Not to mention most if not all of the ones that have made a valid complaint we have taken care of them some way or somehow. Your concerns are valid and i hope this clears up some of your incorrect oponion of Top Gun Promotions, its employees, and products. Thank you

AUTHOR: Jim - (U.S.A.)

You make it sound as if this is an isolated incident. There are multiple complaints about your company all across the web. Why does the BBB give you an unsatisfactory rating? Why is the FTC looking into your company? You can BS all you want but you need to find a legit way to make a living as opposed to grifting others.

final response to customers in the dark

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

We do not list all of our clients on our website. You have to realize the promotions has been very successful for the service center over the past 18 months. There sales off of the memberships have more than paid for the free oil changes on the card. Your misunderstanding in seeing the value of a customer for a service center over 5 years is estimated at 3000-5000 dollars is obvious, and 4 free oil changes might cost the shop 40 bucks and after they collect the disposal fee maybe 28 dollars and then when they write it off thier taxes as an advertising expense it bascially cost them very little.

Your lack of understanding the business is obvious and if you think we go out and sell a card without writen permission from the shop your crazy. The shop changed management and the new management is the one scamming the customers. Why would another service center gladely take all of the customers with the same offers and obligation if it was a scam. Think about it. This is my last response and i hope you realize you are completely wrong.

My neighbor bought one of the Stupid Saver memberships and we noticed they had the same control number. it appears to me that the shop winds up doing a bunch of free work for a lot of people. how in the hell do they pay their rent? The ironic part to this whole deal is that the scum manitain that they have "over 500 service centers". If you go to their website www.oilchanges4free.com I count only 67 service centers nationwide. The truth of the matter.

AUTHOR: Vpoftopgunpromotions - (U.S.A.)

Top Gun Promotions has had a contract with RM Tires since June of 2006 giving us the authorization to sell the autocaresupersaver memberships for RM Tires. The contract was signed with the GM/Owner named Ralph. In the contract it states RM Tires agrees to honor all super savers sold and does not receive any of the proceeds from the sales of the super saver cards.Top Gun Promotions pays for all the printing and distribution of the super savers. RM Tires has been gladly accepting the auto care super saver cards for 1 year and approximately 6 months. Top Gun Promotions received a call from a SCOTTY around feb 8 th asking top gun promotions to quit selling the membership cards. Scotty informed us that Ralph was no longer with their company and we at that time (feb 9th, 2008) agreed to temporally stop selling new super saver cards until we could have a meeting with RM Tires to discuss the promotion. RM Tires has a LEGAL obligation to honor ALL the memberships sold through Feb, 9th 2008. Meaning if a customer purchased a membership on feb 7th 2008 that customer would have 1 year to use the super saver card and RM Tires has a LEGAL obligation to honor that membership until its expiration of FEB 8, 2009. My name is Joe Gast VP of sales for Top Gun Promotions. I have been with the company since 1991 and RM Tires just like over 500 other major service centers nationwide signed a contract with Top Gun Promotions and we have worked very hard to sell super saver cards over the past year and a half for RM tires and it is their obligation to honor the memberships and take care of EVERY customer that purchased a card. Top Gun Promotions will nor issue ANY refunds based on SCOTTY's decision to all of a sudden after 1.5 years of honoring the memberships to just say " we were not paid and we wont honor the cards" There is not any Legal obligation for Top Gun Promotions to pay RM Tires any monies for the super savers sold as noted in our contract with RM Tires. Top Gun Promotions has been in business for over 20 years and is very well respected in the service center industry and WILL NOT put up with any Service Center, or its employees, making FALSE claims and telling customers we and or our products are a scam. RM Tires included 4 of their employees in the picture on the front of the membership card and has honored the cards with great success for a year and a half and is completely liable to honor the remaining memberships that are still have time left on them. In the meantime while our attorneys are enforcing the contract RM TIRES signed Top Gun Promotions is giving every customer a replacement card for another service center within 3 miles of RM TIRES with the exact same offers and discounts. To receive your replacement card for please call Top Gun Promotions at 972 801 9464./or simply mail back your RM Tire promotion to Top Gun Promotions 801 east plano parkway #135 plano tx 75074

Top Gun Promotions is a legitimate company in business for over 20 years!

AUTHOR: Steve - (U.S.A.)

I have personally purchased these cards from Top Gun Promotions for several years. I have saved thousands of dollars using the memberships for the last 8 years. If this guy is upset because he didn't use it that's his own fault! What does it matter how much it cost Top Gun to produce the card. The customer is saving over 800.00 in service if they use the membership. If this guy didn't see the value in the membership then why did he buy the card in the first place? This guy seems like a trouble maker.

Top Gun Promotions has sold millions memberships over last 20 years and is a very reputable company which stands behind their product. If the service center decided not to honor their contract with Top Gun Promotions that is the service centers fault not Top Gun Promotions. And if so, Top Gun Promotions would exchange the membership for a new service center for the customer. If you have any problems feel free to call Top Gun Promotions at 480-921-8282 and you will be taking care of.
