A man knocked on my door on sept.1st . He was very young but nice. I decided to purchase a book from him that was suppose to go to a school in Nashville. Later that night I changed my mind. I thought 63 dollars was too much money for us to spend. So i called back the number that the kid called to charge my credit card. I talked to the same women that placed the order. She gave me instructions to cancel everything. I sent a telegram (which cost 5 dollars) to the company letting them now my receipt number and all other info. Then i called to make sure they received it which they did. So last week I'm looking on my statement they charged my card anyways. I called the number back its no longer in service. I have also read acticles on facebook that this company is envolved in human trafficing. SCARY!!!! Dont buy anything from these people. Actually call the police never know you just might save some poor childs life.

Many times over the last year "young adults" have shown up at my door asking me to buy magazines from them.  They each had their own little speach that they cleverly delivered and was well rehearsed.

My husband and I was always polite and I once even gave one of them something to drink because it was extremely hot that day! We never bought anything from any of them though.  They were very persistent, but we are on a "fixed" income and magazines are not a priority to us.

One day while going over our bank statement I saw a transaction of $65.00 that was made to "Topline Marketing" and neither me nor my husband had a clue what it was.  After contacting the bank we were told it was a transaction made elctronically and neither of our cards were swiped.  The bank did a little research and found out which card it was made on and all of that.

I found a company website online called "Topline Marketing" and contacted them.  They claimed they had nothing to do with purchases and that they only sale and distribute to other companies.  They could never explain how this transaction occurred, but addmitted that we were not the only ones who contacted them with this complaint.

In the end there was nothing left to do except file a fraudulent claim with our bank.  We have  yet to recieve any answers on how this happened.  I do not want to let this go, but I am unsure of how to continue my research.  I am still very unhappy that this company is not taking responsibility for stealing my money.
