Cindy never brings up anything in her rebuttal that was addressed in the original ripoff allegation. If you notice, all Cindy does is use fancy words and how her company is SO reputable. It's hilarious that Cindy says her employees receive training and get an employee handbook. Her employees do receive training but it's training on how to use a double-ended d***o and how to learn the trade of doing the perfect p***y shots. LOL! She lies on her ad on adult jobs.com when she says her employees are 23-36. Most of her employees are in their late 20s to late 40s. Her oldest employee is Gia who is 49 and Cindy actually brags about these women in their late 40s "doing such a great job." I find it sad that most of her older employees like Gia never considered getting an education. Cindy shows favoritism towards certain employees and that is known by everyone that works for her. All Cindy cares about is money and will treat her employees based on the way she's feeling that day. There isn't ANY security for the girls and it is true that parties are done at remote locations with large groups of men and at frat houses that have hundreds of drunk guys. I have witnessed girls being injured or scared at these events which results in the d***o party ending early. For someone like Cindy to brag about the decades she's been in business, it makes a person wonder why she doesn't care more about her female employees safety.

Cindy is in the ADULT ENTERTAINMENT industry and most people know what that sector of employment consists of. When business is slow and she's short on girls, she's the nicest ever to her female employees. But when business is good and she has plenty of girls on her site, she treats you any kind of way bc you can be replaced. Kind of a "pimp mentality." If there's a situation between a new girl and one of her favorites, she ALWAYS picks her favorites (her biggest moneymakers) sides. Some of these girls that she puts on such a high pedestal, actually steal from her (do upgrades without telling Cindy and charging the clients less/convincing the clients not "to tell") and they talk about what a b**** Cindy is. She has been known to make girls cry and many have quit bc they got sick of being treated and talked to poorly. Cindy doesn't like her employees calling her after 9, doesn't provide security, her "training" and handbooks consist of how to perform bisexual shows and the propery use of sex toys, and she treats her employees however she wants based on her mood. She actually has some complaints by disgruntled fiancées and wives on citysearch and yelp. How "reputable" can an adult entertainment company be? LOL! I have also witnessed some of her female employees involved in questionable acts during the private dances after the parties are done. Closed or cracked bedroom doors with a female employee and client while other girl is doing her "private" dances in another bedroom.

I am writing to provide some comments on Topshelf Entertainment, Inc. that are based on my interaction with the company and with one of its entertainers as a customer, as a response to some extreme accusations filed in a complaint here by someone claiming to be a "former employee", but actually an independent contractor, at best.

When I called Cindy Page, the CEO, in April of this year, I told her that I had a rather unusual request but that it was nothing illegal, immoral, unethical, or unsavory. She replied “I'll be the judge of that”.

I told her that I wanted to book a photo session with her most petite entertainer and I explained why. An article that featured me appeared on the front page of the Sunday, October 13, 2013 edition of the Marietta Daily Journal. The reporter knew that I was a weightlifter of some renown, so she wanted to use a photo of me lifting weights, in addition to another photo. I explained to her that the general public can relate much better to the lifting of people than to the lifting of iron weights, so I suggested that such a photo be made. That could not be arranged, however.

If I already had such a photo on my computer, I could have sent it to the reporter for her to use. So I decided to remedy that deficiency for any future articles (and for other possible uses) and I explained my situation to Cindy, indicating that I would like to book a photo/lifting session with Nevada. Of course, Cindy had to first feel comfortable sending one of her entertainers to the home of someone she did not know, as they generally work group events only. Fortunately, I appear in various places on the Internet as I have some prominence in my profession and in weightlifting, so there is a moderate amount of information readily available that people can access to check me out. After subsequent interactions, Cindy did feel comfortable with me, concluding that I am safe and professional, which she told Nevada.

As the date of the scheduled session approached, I interacted with Nevada and picked out a clothes outfit from the possibilities she presented to me that I thought would look nice in the photos. She had informed me that she was planning to arrive 15 minutes early, which I appreciated as I always leave way ahead of time for meetings, in case there are traffic problems, etc. She had a slight delay and called me to inform me of the time that her GPS was giving her for her estimated arrival. She did arrive three minutes before the scheduled time and was dressed exactly as I had requested.

She was a pleasure to work with as we used my digital camera with a timer to take several photos of me lifting her in various ways. Since I know very little about photography, I fumbled around with the camera settings at times and she was very patient with me.

Except for my missteps with the camera, I could not have asked for a more enjoyable and productive photo session. Did I ask Nevada for any sexual favors? Certainly not. Did she offer any as a means of “increasing revenue”. No, of course not. Furthermore, it was apparent from our very brief discussion of escorts that she would be very unlikely to ever be involved in such activities.

I mention this because of the nature of some very caustic remarks and scathing allegations about Cindy and her operations by the alleged former employee. Although the person claimed to be a former employee, I would expect such a person to know that Cindy's last name is “Page”, not “Pade”. So is this really a former employee (independent contractor)?

The complainant stated “She lies on her ad on adultjobs.com when she says her employees are 23-36.” Let's examine that statement. First, the website is now sexyjobs.com and employers don't state in ads the age range of the people who work for them. Rather, they will often state the age range that they are seeking for applicants, and indeed that is what Cindy did in her job listing at  http://www.sexyjobs.com/jobsbykey.asp?keywords=Topshelf+Entertainment, in which she stated a desired age range of 21-35.

Furthermore, in one of her ads at http://www.sexyjobs.com/jobslocation2.asp?Location=Atlanta , Cindy stated “no druggies, escorts, or porn needed”. Does that ad suggest that Cindy is trying to recruit women for sex orgies? Obviously not!  She clearly indicated that she does not want those kind of people to apply. Similarly, the company page at http://www.yelp.com/biz/topshelf-entertainment-atlanta-2 indicates that they are not an escort service or a massage service. There is also an Internet review in which the reviewer stated in part “just don't ask for sexual favors as my buddy did, or you will never see a madder stripper”.

All of this stands in stark contrast to the complainant's allegation that Cindy “is no more than a low grade pimp.” who sends her girls "to these log cabins often on dirt roads in the middle of no where" (sic).  If any of these bizarre allegations were true, we would expect to see, at the very least, complaints filed with the Atlanta Better Business Bureau. But there are no complaints against Topshelf Entertainment at the Atlanta BBB website and the company has an A+ rating, as Cindy stated. http://www.bbb.org/atlanta/business-reviews/adult-entertainment/topshelf-entertainment-in-roswell-ga-3000852.  Similarly, there are no critical reviews at yelp.com, despite the complainant's claim to the contrary, and only five-star reviews at kudzu.com.

I have interacted with only one entertainer and with Cindy over a period of a few months, so I have not been a regular customer.  I strongly believe, however, that if I were a regular customer, my opinion of Cindy and her entertainers would probably be the same as the opinion that I have expressed here. I have presented my view of the company and given links that provide additional information for anyone who wants to verify the facts that I have given.

To the Disgruntled Ex-Employee - Your erroneous accusations are not only inaccurate, but do not warrant my response.  The only reason I respond is to show those who God forbid not know the difference between lies & truth.  If you so d**n my company, do not hide yourself.  Let us all know who YOU are.  There are a lot of HATERS when you are good.  You are amongst them.  I can only assume you are a very hateful, resentful, person who blames everyone for your shortcomings.  If you were successful, I would not matter.  I am so sorry you are a hateful person with such resentments you must d**n others who have been very successful regardless of your hate.  SHAME ON YOU!  You d**n me but hide behind secrecy on a site that is in itself inaccurate & unethical.  You accusations are ludicrous.  After 30 years in this business, I need not qualify your accusations. I will let our impeccable reputation blow your slander away!  GOD BLESS YOU!
