Toshiba defective product and deceptive refund practices Internet

I was one of those people, and Toshiba instructed me to send the device back to them. I did so, at my own expense for shipping. Then they tell me they can't repair the product and they can't send me another of the same.
So they issue me a coupon code to buy something else off toshibadirect.com. Problem is, there are no comparable blu-ray players there for the amount they issued me. I refuse to spend more money out of pocket because their product was defective.
Then the real trouble began, trying to contact them. Returns department says talk to Sales, and sales says talk to Returns. Customer service takes my complaint and then no one contacts me back. I'm out the money I paid for the player, the money I paid to send it back, and all the hours I've wasted trying to resolve it.
So now I'm on sites like ripoffreport looking for anything I can do towards getting a new blu-ray player...
