i got a letter in the mail from john carter . it stated that i was the beneficiary of 80,000.00. even had a check for $2,362.85 enclosed.  it stated that i had to call first before cashing the check or else all claims would be void..i called first time no answer, but second time i did speak to john carter,. he said to deposit the check in my own bank,. if the bank asks any questions i should tell them its a settlement check..after i deposited it i was to call him back... in the meaning time he said he would fill out the paper work...

this was on a friday,. i went to bank and the manager said it was fraud ,.i called john carter back and told him i had deposited the check( even though i did not). he said to call him monday... on monday i called john carter and he said call the bank and see if the check cleared. i called him later in afternoon and i told him theres enough money in the account( which i did not do).. he said to write out a check for $2000.00 and i was to keep the rest... thats when i told him that his name john carter is all over the interent as a FRAUD and i hung up the phone,.... this is what you would go through if you pursue this as i did..
