I was so happy I found the toy my little 4 year old girl was looking for at a reasonable price. I ordered the toy as well as some others so my two little girls (4) and (6) would have special Christmas presents. I don't have alot of money so I usually have to put away a little bit each month for their Christmas each year.
Unfortunately, after a couple days I did not hear from toyglobe.com is when I did some research and found out all the bad reports from this company.
I ordered $168 worth of toys on 12/01/08 expecting to get them by Christmas without issue. I was billed $140.00 on 12/03/08 (almost immediately which drew my first red flag, they charge my card before confirming my order).
Once I read the report on this company and how many non responses they have from the BBB, I got scared. I have inquired several times by email about the tracking and arrival time of my package. I was assured I would receive the package by Christmas.
I tried calling but no one ever answered or the phone goes to a full mailbox and I couldn't leave a message.
I pleaded with customer support, that if they would just be honest with me about package, if it would be late that was fine, I just need to know so I could make other arrangements for my happy little girls Christmas.
Finally on 12/08/08 I was told that a item was out of stock (even though everything I ordered says on the website in stock), and I would receive my product in the next 5 days.
On 12/12/08 I received a tracking number for 12/15/08, however when I called USPS they said they had not received a package (I called everyday this week since I was so worried about my girls Christmas presents).
12/19/08 I found out from USPS the package has just shipped yesterday night 12/18/08. I am pretty sure the package is not going to make it by Christmas, since there is only 2 days of shipping left (19-20 are weekends and 24 and 25 USPS doesnt ship), even though I was told by toyglobe.com it would be here in time.
I am so upset because I pleaded with this company to let me know so I could make other arrangements for my children's Xmas. Since everything was tied up into this order my 2 little girls will have a wait for their Christmas until the presents come. I let them know that Santa might be a little late this year because he is so busy.
I know toyglobe probably doesn't care but it is a shame they couldn't just tell me the truth that I would not receive my package in time for Christmas.
In addition, my card was again charged for another $60. The original price was $168 and I was charged over $200, they have not responded yet to that answer. I did not authorize this charge and if I had known of a price increase I would have purchased elsewhere.
Dont break your children's hearts and order anything from this company. Do you research, they dont care and very much border on illegal sales tactics.
