I m.g and a friend a.w both of us in our 20s at the time. were approved for a car last year in 08. which i was working at wendys and making 8.00 an hour and a w was on disability, unemployment ,food stamps.they did not run a credit check on her but they did on me my credit score was 617 with equifax only their was no other credit check withe the other to agencies . i was making a payment on my 07 car of 292.00 a month plus i had a few credit card bills i was paying. a.w was not working very much and she also had credit card bills and they did not run a credit check on her because she would not be able to qualify if they did.aw said she would be able to make the car payments which at first was 404.00 then they went to 363.00 a month.toyota sales person alexander revard,f & i mngr kimberly zona, sls mnger christina mena should have never sold the car to us knowing that we could not afford the car .but end of the month they are trying to make there quota for the month.the apr was at 12.15% and fin charge was 9106.61 the cars price tag was 14,450.00but then they added all this other stuff on like t.m.i.s and portfolio and gap what ever these things r ???? the total was 30,182.25 which there is no way we could pay. a.w was driving the car the whole yr and had all the paper work on it and keys i never have drive the car and she has taken up bankruptcy and she could not make payments on the car and she wanted me to make the payments but i cant either so Toyota is forcing us bot into bankruptcy for a car that we should never been approved for. dont by from them they will scam you out of money and they dont care .

M.G. Lake Elsinore - You May Be Victim of A Straw Purchase

AUTHOR: Robert Waller - (United States of America)

M.G. - Lake Elsinore,

You may be victim of a "straw purchase" or as "Karl - Highland Ranch" suggests maybe your documents were forged.  Have you asked TTV to see the sales file for the purchase?  We are currently handing a lawsuit against Toyota of Temecula Valley and are investigating these kinds of sales tactics at TTV.  We would like to speak with you directly.  You can respond to this posting and we will be contacted or you may contact us directly at robert@robertwallerlaw.com.  Robert

1MORERIPOFF, THERE IS A CHANCE THAT YOUR LOAN DOCUMENTS WERE ALTERED.......

AUTHOR: Karl - (USA)

by someone at the dealership in order for the loan to be approved, and if you can prove that this happened to you then you can sue the dealership for fraud, right?

Make sure to 'Google' this- CAR SALES: TRICKS OF THE TRADE- CONSUMER ALERT, and watch that video on the web where Tori's monthly income was altered by the finance manager at the dealership. It was caught on hidden camera. (The owner of that dealership is Sonic Automotive. They are the 3rd largest dealer network in the USA. They own & operate about 150 car dealerships nationwide.)

You can contact the bank where the dealership sent all of the loan documents and request copies, and then compare them to your copies. Make sure to get a copy of the CREDIT APPLICATION that has your 'job title' and 'monthly income'. Make sure it is correct. If it isn't, then be sure to check where your signature appears on the credit application. It could be a completely different credit application with a FORGED SIGNATURE.

If that is the case, contact an attorney and contact all of the investigative reporters at all of your local News stations in your town and get the story exposed on T.V. as quickly as you can, okay?

Good luck to you!

GROW UP

AUTHOR: Tech1 - (U.S.A.)

So you want someone to say to you (like your mom or dad.) No you cant buy this you dont have the money. You want this your whole life no reasonability?

You may find if you got this wish you would hate it. You are the only person who is responsible for your money. If you make good choices you are the responsible one.

Take this as one of your life lessons for not being responsible. The finance company did take a chance on you to buy the car and they did lose it will cost them money. You should grow up and take some responsibility like an ADULT.

Your fault

AUTHOR: Gruppa - (U.S.A.)

It's your responsibility to get a car you can afford. If you knew you could not make the payments then you shouldn't have purchased it. It's not the dealerships responsibility to play mommy and daddy and tell you that you can't afford it. Be adults and make your own finance decisions. Your irresponsibility is why you are in such financial trouble. If there was no way you could afford it, then why did you go through with the deal? You could have said no. What's wrong with you? They didn't MAKE you do anything.

toyota of temecula rip off young people

AUTHOR: 1moreripoff - (U.S.A.)

I, M.G. and a friend A.W.( both of us ) just turned 20 years old . At the time. I was approved for a car last year in July 2008, when I was working at Wendy's, a salary of $8.00 an hour. A.W. was on disability, unemployment, food stamps. They did not pull a credit check on her but they did on me and my credit score was 617 with Equifax only. There was no other credit check with the other two agencies. Would this qualify for approval to purchase a car??? I was already making payments on my2007 car of 292.00(which I had help getting my car with a buyer at the time I was co buyer) plus I had a few credit card bills I was paying. A.W was not working and she also had credit card bills and they did not pull a credit check on her because she would not be able to qualify. A.W. said she would be able to make the car payments which at first were 404.00 then decreased to 363.00 a month at 8.5%. Toyota sales person Alexander Revard,F & I manager, Kimberly Zone, Sales manager, Christina Mena ,should have never sold the car to us knowing that we could not afford the car, but end of the month they are trying to make their quota for the month. They are re-working figures to make the credit pass for (her) APR was at 12.15% and finance charge of 9106.61; the car price tag was 17,350.00 but then they added all this other stuff on like T.MI.S and portfolio , Gap ; what ever these things are??? The total was 30,182.25 with no down payment. T here is no way she, or we could pay. A.W. was driving the car the whole year and had all the paper work on it and keys. I never drove the car and A.W. has taken up bankruptcy because she could not make payments on the car .She wanted me to make the payments but I cant either so Toyota is forcing us both into bankruptcy for a car that we should never been approved for. How can a reputable company approve a deal just to make a sale and charge this enormous amount of interest? I don't know how we were approved for it. Maybe you don't have to have a very high score to buy a car. Don't by from them, they will scam you out of money and they don't care; they will sell you a car even if you can not afford it. They will fix the pricing so it looks like people can qualify. Toyota Kept telling me that I was co buyer for her (not the buyer) but they only checked my credit and put the car in my name first then hers. Her mom was even with us and said it was ok to do this. A.W. would be the buyer , not me , that they would take care of it and not to worry that they knew what they were doing ( to get the car sold) Any way I never saw the paper work on the car after I signed it. Until now. Because my family found out and they said I have been scammed by Toyota because my name is first; not hers .I am young and not too experienced with this. They don't need to tell people one thing and then do another. They scam people out of money. and take 7 to 10 years of your life away with bad credit. They use one person's credit for someone else to buy a car. 1moreripoff Lake Elsinore, California

Can't place all the blame for your own actions

AUTHOR: Matt - (U.S.A.)

I read a lot of these reports and most often agree with the person complaining. In this instance, there is no one to blame but yourself. You may have not received a great deal on the vehicle but you signed for it. You can't blame other people for your own mistakes. You should no whether or not you can afford it. Time to start thinking before your actions and take responsibility instead of putting blame on others.

This site is for people that have been taken advantage of, not consumers who spend beyond their means and are looking to blame others.
