Demitri,

AUTHOR: Karl - (USA)

If your son financed the car and the dealership had him fill out the paperwork for financing, have him check all of the paperwork in order to see if the dealership may have included an 'extended warranty' in the contract that your son may not be aware of. Also have him check for 'GAP insurance' and other financial products that could have been included in the loan.

Then 'Google' this- CAR SALES: TRICKS OF THE TRADE- DATELINE NBC CONSUMER ALERT, and watch that video on the web for important information.

Good luck, and make sure to give us an update.

He Is A Man, Right?

AUTHOR: Jim - (USA)

If he read the contract, saw the price and didn't like it, then the smart thing to do is vote with his feet. Nobody put a gun to his head. No, I don't work for them.

comparison-shopping

AUTHOR: coast - (USA)

In a free market economy there is no price controlling entity that determines the value of goods and services. A merchant can charge whatever they choose for the goods and services they provide. He had the option of comparison-shopping but chose not to exercise that option. He was not ripped off.
