I have a 2002 Dodge ram 1500 SLT 4x4 when I bought my truck it drove fine shifted through all the gears but would not downshift into first when you stop. I drove it like this until the Trans got worse finally I had no reverse and 3rd gear was slipping. So I got on the Internet and started doing some research looking for the best Trans Shop. I found transmission Technologies INC I had my brother Joe call them.

They told him "we replace everything with new parts in the transmission" we asked them if they replaced the valve body they said "yes everything gets replaced in the transmission when we do a rebuilt” we tear your whole trans down and clean it and put it all back together with new parts". Transmission technology INC was a hour and a half from my house. There are 50 plus trans shops around me but there advertisement sounded like they knew what they were doing and the only ones that said " we replace all your parts with new parts including the valve buddy and torque converter for $950.00

so I drove to Transmission Technologies INC and dropped off my trans and told them what it was doing from the day I got the truck. They told me it would be done tomorrow around six and I could pick it up then. The next day I drove and got my Trans and when I got there he showed me my trans and a basket and all the clutches and the solenoid he replaced then told me he took a basket out of a core trans. I then got my Trans and paid him $300.

In cash and $566.00 on my master card because there was not a new torque converter when I got there. I told him I would have the one I have cleaned out and use it because it was new. He told me it would be fine. When I got the trans to the shop I work at we put it in the next day the trans still did the same thing when I drove down the street it would not down shift in to first gear then started slipping in 3 again I then called him and let him know he then tried saying it was something with my truck but its not

we had a scan tool and the computer is calling for the  1st gear but the trans is not going into 1st gear its getting the signal form the plug on the harness   that plugs in to the trans but the trans is not doing what the computer is calling for so that tells us the trans was not fix right it been a month and he as not yet help me or got a new trans for me so I would like a refund of $300 in cash and $566.00 back on my master card Thanks.
