Transportreviews.com is a very bad company. They allow anyone to post reviews of companies. They do not verify information. Instead they allow others to post negative information about your company which may or not be true. Many times my competitors have posted negative information about me and created fake accounts to do so. I dont have time to constantly be checking transport reviews. I have a business to run. If you dont pay attention ppl could be writing negative reviews about you and if you dont catch them to rebutt you could lose business and even more your reputation. This is a great way for a competitor to post fake reviews and put u out of business. This is suppose to be a site for ppl to get honest reviews of transport companies. These are supposed to be from ppl who use the company not competitors. If an honest customer posts a negative review Transportreviews. [continued below]....

.....com allows transport companies to pay to have the negative information deleted. This allows many companies to achieve a 5 star rating. They even allow reviewers to be paid to post reviews. They do let you know they are paid reviews however these are still counted in their overall rating. I too could pay 30 ppl to write a good review on me and have a five star rating. This website is full of lies and and is very dishonest!

This report contains many lies and gossip shared by companies, but is short on facts. Below is verifiable public information that refutes your claims. We welcome viewers and auto transport companies to use this as a guide to ward off the popular lies that companies use to show customers why they should not pay attention to Transport Reviews.
CLAIM: That we "allow anyone to post reviews of companies".
VALIDITY: Simply not true.
CLAIM: We "do not verify information"
VALIDITY: Partially true.

VALIDITY: Simply not true.
Transport Reviews is reviews of auto transport companies posted by those claiming to be customers. If a company makes a statement that a review was posted by someone who is "Not A Customer" we require the reviewer to verify they are a customer. Information on this process is available on Transport Reviews as well as in the many emails we send to reviewers in cases the process has been started.

VALIDITY: Partially true.
On negative reviews we DO at the request of the company verify that the reviewer is a customer. However, we do not verify the claims made in the reviews. The review was written by the customer and the customer is responsible for their own claims and opinions. In many cases visitors can contact reviewers if they have a question about a claim.CLAIM: My competitors have posted negative information about me and created fake accounts to do so.
Also, the company is allowed to respond to reviews. Just FYI, we also do not verify the information in the company's response.
VALIDITY: Not True Because of Ignorance.
If you simply log into your Transport Reviews company account you can click a button to run the non-customer review process. Once you do this the review is IMMEDIATELY removed and the reviewer has to document being a customer.CLAIM: <paraphrase> If I don't know about a bad review it can hurt me before I get a chance to respond.

Companies can log into their account and enter an email address to be notified whenever a review is posted. Notification emails are sent out before a review is ever made live, while we are still verifying the reviewers contact information.CLAIM: Companies can pay to have a bad review removed.
So please log in and update your company information to receive these alerts.

Companies can not pay us to have reviews removed. This is absurd. If it was the case RipOffReport would be filled with people angry we removed their bad reviews instead of companies upset that bad reviews remain and company posted good reviews are removed.CLAIM: Companies can pay reviewers to post reviews.
VALIDITY: True
We don't like it but yes, companies can pay their customers to post reviews. This is between a company and their customer. We have no part of it and we state on our website that we are against it.
Both Transport Reviews AND Federal LAW require that if you were paid to post a review that you must say so. In cases of paid reviews, contrary to this reporter's statement, Transport Reviews allows visitors to remove reviews marked as paid to post.
