In 2010,after placing our name in a box to win a car,we received a phone call stating that we had won a FREE cruise. We were told that we would need to come in for one hour to sit through a "presentation"  in order to receive our free cruise vouchers.

During the one hour seminar we were told that after you purchase a vacation package for a certain price the cost per vacation would only be an extra $99.00 for one weeks stay in a condominium. The speaker made everything sound appealing and clear but in the end it WASN'T. After the "presentation" we were then given an agent that would talk to us further about this vacation package.We were not allowed to just leave with our cruise vouchers.Everyone there was assigned to an agent as soon as the 'presentation' was over.

As you would have guessed my husband and i fell for it thinking that this would be a reason to go on vacation more. We started going through the process of booking our cruise knowing that we would ONLY have to pay the booking fee of $199.We sent that in thinking that this is Great we are going on a cruise for $199. SO when i called to book our flight and pick a date i was told that i would have to pay another $800 for port fees.This was never told to my husband and I. This was a complete shock. After what just happened i knew that this vacation package was going to give us trouble.

Well a few years later we decided that it was time to use our package and go on vacation. I started looking on the website for something in June/July. I found a place close by so we would not have to travel far. Thinking that we would only have to pay the booking fee ($99) and another fee because it was going to be in prime season.We thought we would only have to pay $200-300 for vacation. Well that was a LIE.Not only did we have to pay $210 for prime season ($30/night) we would also have to pay for an upgrade fee.(which we were never told about)The total to go on a $200-300 vacation was going to cost us over $500!!

My husband and i were furious. I called and spoke to a representative and when i explained all this i was told by the first representative that i had to have the upgrade charge. After this i explained to the representative that i want to cancel and i would Like a Full refund. She then lied to me saying that she would have to contact the lender with which i have a "loan" with (this is not true the 'loan' that i have is through a company with which they own) because i have an outstanding balance.

A week later i have not heard from them. So i called them back and this representative said that she emailed me (which she never did) with a new proposition on my vacation weeks. Apparently the "loan" that i am suppose to have said that it was okay to say that i am PAID in FULL and that i still will have 7 weeks of vacation left to use. How can this be when there is a "balance" left???

So when i refused this offer i asked to speak to a manager. I was told that she was with a client and that i could leave a message and she would return my call. Well after 3 messages she finally returned my call. I explained to her my reason for wanting a FULL refund. When i explained to her about the upgrade fee and how we were never told about that. She told me that i absolutely do not have to have the upgrade fee (when the other representative said i had to have it)that it is for 2 or more bedrooms.I then explained to her that i only wanted 1bedroom since its just my husband and i. She said that maybe i selected a 2  bedroom and that was why i had an upgrade fee. I was so confused at this point and i have no idea who to believe.

I continued to ask her about this new offer that was being made to me. I asked her how can you say that i am paid in full when there is a balance left on this "loan". She said that she does not know how that works but that she was given the green light to give me this offer. Seems weird that a 'loan" would do this. I never got a straight answer from her.

I continued to tell her that i wanted to cancel my package and that i wanted a Full Refund. She told me that there was no Breech in contract and that i can cancel but not receive a Refund. I told her there was a breech in contract that the contract does not say how long i have to cancel this package. She said that it absolutely does say how long you have to cancel.That was a LIE.No where in my contract does it say how long i have to cancel.

So i searched on the internet about this. They FAILED to advise me of my Federal right of rescission as well as the salesperson never told me of my cancellation rights at the time
of sale. And the salesperson is suppose to give you two copies of a
cancellation form (one to keep and one to send) . I do not have a copy of my cancellation rights.Nor was i ever told of these rights.

After doing all that searching of my rights and the searching of the company i came across a boycott page.After seeing all the boycotts and the reputation that this company has -
I will not stop until I get a FULL refund and my contract cancelled.I will continue to fight for what is mine.

I have filed multiple complaints with the Better Business Bureau, the Federal Trade Commission, as well as the Ohio Attorney Generals office. I will continue to file until i receive a FULL REFUND.

Please do not sign any contract with Travel Advantage Network,Sundance Vacations or Travelwise. It will be the worst mistake of your life.
