This is UNBELEIVEABLE! Two years ago, I agree to have information sent to me via US postal service about a "free" trip to Florida. I agree to the "10 day trial period" during which time I decide that $49.95 isn't too tragic to pay for 7 nights and 6 days in Florida. So I agree to this purchase and have a year to use the vacation. I'm in the military so time gets really messy espescially with PCS moves, and as it turned out I forgot about the trip. So almost a year has gone by and I get this call reminding me about this trip I have already paid for, so I tell the guy sure, send me the info again and maybe I'll get a chance to use it before I deploy. What I got in return is a nightmare. I NEVER got the info, they shared my billing infor with 3 other companies, charged me another $49.95, then the 2 other companies (Florida Escapes and some long distance carrier ) all charged my account. All these charges totaled out to $180, that I didn't plan on being withdrawn from my account (think they refung OD fees?) The electronic check that was presented to my bank has only one contact number for "billing questions" where the (apply sarcasm) "very helpful" people SWEAR they didn't charge your account, yet they can't answer why their number is on the check...THEN after you cuss, and yell and scream, they find something in their system to give you another number which produces more unhelpful and all around crappy customer "service"... I have been arguing for 2 months and still no resolve ... the last person I talked to for only one of the charges said I needed to submit for a refund in writing ... why then can they charge my account with out authorization but can't refund with out it...STAY AWAY from anyone affiliated with Travel Agents Go Direct ... save yourself lots of time and money ...
