Man on phone called the house and said he was with Travel Agents Go Direct and gave me their website www.travelagentsgodiect.com

Of course it won't display. Anyway he wanted to verify my routing number and account number on my checking account.

I am a travel agent I know this in not how we do business. DON'T WANT THIS SCAM to give legtimante agencies a bad name. It is hard enough will all the online stuff out there now. Tried to get off phone but he was very presistant. Finally hung up. DO NOT give out personal information over the phone.

IT'S ALL THE SAME! SUNTASIA MARKETING IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LIES!

AUTHOR: Joe - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Brenda these crooks run this operation from ONE location ONLY. Suntasia Marketing is the company who promotes these shameful products. They have been exposed by the media on three different ocassions for their questionable business practices plus there have been banks alerts all over the web on these crooks.

All you have to do is Google Suntasia's name and you'll see every website that is out there which exposes them. The florida attorney generals office currently is running a second investigation on them. The first one was back in 2000 where their parent company Florida Travel Network had to pay out thousands and thousands of dollars in refunds to victims in 16 states. I recently inquired about the investigation in Tallahassee and they told me Suntasia's lawyers are working overtime to avoid another embarrassing situation. The difference between the investigation in 2000 and the current one is that now the media along with the internet are exposing these crooks which is making people more aware to their scam.

THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS ON SUNTASIA MARKETING AND IT'S PROMOTIONS.

The address where ALL the calls originate from is:

Suntasia Marketing
8751 Ulmerton Road
Largo, FL 33771
Tel#: 727-471-0276 or 1-800-NEW-TEAM

Website: http://suntasia.com/

Live calls to your house start with the numbers 727-471-#### or 727-683-####. There are 8 rooms which hold 24 agents in each plus a customer service area. You can actually see what Suntasia looks like on the inside by going to their website above.

The programs and the companies they currently promote are:

Travel Agents Go Direct
Distinct Advantage
Freedom Gold
FloridaWay
Prism Communications

Here is a list of programs they use to promote:

Agents Travel Network
Capitol Vacations
Travel Agency Network
Teliflex Communications
VersaTalk

ALL the companies listed above have an unsatisfactory rating with the Better Business Bureau.

Suntasia Marketing according to their website also promotes other programs such as Leisure City, Freedom Ring Long Distance Service, Monster Mastercard, Variety! Spice of Your Life and Credit Life. I have not been able to find out any information on these promotions they sell.

Three news stations have exposed Suntasia Marketing and it's questionable business practices. They are as follows.

ABC affiliate KETV Channel 7 in Omaha, Nebraska

CBS affiliate KDKA Channel 2 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania

ABC affiliate KOMO 4 News in Seattle, Washington

Banks and newspapers are sending out alerts as well. Here is the list of five banks and two media outlets that sent out warnings in the last two months alone.

Florida Telco Credit Union Warning

Teachers Federal Credit Union Warning

Members 1st Federal Credit Union Warning

UVA Community Credit Union

GESA Credit Union

Frost Illustrated News In Indiana

Pittsburgh Post Gazette Warning

If you've been ripped off by this company, I suggest you contact your State Attorney Generals Office.

IN FLORIDA THE ATTORNEY GENERAL NEW FRAUD HOTLINE is 1-866-9-NOSCAM (1-866-966-7226) or 1-800-help-fla. Hit 1 then 5 and a live agent will come on to document your complaint.

If you want to have these crooks stopped, all you have to do is send them a certified CEASE and DESIST letter to their corporate office. Make the letter out to Donald Booth their corporate attorney. Write a neat and professional looking letter requesting them to remove your name, address and phone number from their files. DO NOT threaten them with any violence. Let Mr. Booth know you are not to be contacted by cellphone, landline, email, wifi, US Postal mail, telegram, telegraph or pony express. Simply put they are to CEASE and DESIST. Period. End of story. Inform him that should you keep getting more calls you will contact your own attorney to proceed with legal action.

One last thing though you have to make sure you write in the letter all the phone numbers that are in the house, just in case you might have an extra phone line. This method does work b/c many have done it and received a response from Suntasia. So instead of complaining, just get typing. It's time for some action.

I hope this helps clear up any questions you may have.
