We are just another victim of the typical deceptive marketing practice of Travel Buy Owner, Inc. They call you and say that they have a buyer for your timeshare at a higher than value price. They present their speech and then advise that they need your money up front, you wait until closing and then get the message that it is held up due to IRS tax lien against the buyer. They don't give you earnest money (we were told that there was $4,000.00 in earnest money) and tell you to wait for 18 months for it to clear. We were never presented with copies of the closing documents that we paid for and they refused to even let us see the contracts. Obviously, there weren't any to show as there was not a real buyer. Any sales transaction should allow both parties to review a contract for sale. TBO also signed an "alleged" agreement to market my 2 weeks at $1500/each, and that were were able to use any timeshare that they had for two weeks at no cost.
