Phony check is made out to "American Airways" on behalf of <my name>.
Claim to have "attempted contacting you on several occasions". Not by any means I am reachable, obviously.
The deal: They are a discount travel agency. Intent is to get you to a travel agent in the local area to hear about their discounts. Voucher is good for air travel on one of their pre-packaged deals.
They will also only serve married/living as married couples between the ages of 28 and 72. When I challenged the agent, she offer to transfer me to customer service and tried to make me feel guilty since she "was just doing her job".
