Powerbuilder is extinct Trax uses Powerbuilder, how many of you have actually heard of powerbuilder? Because it is so old and no longer supported on a larger scale. Furthermore Powerbuilder unlike other programming language has not been revolutionized as a 21st century language. It is extinct that's why where are so many bugs and other issues with the software. .....New features and enhancements at the customer's expense. Trax advertises that the software is built by airlines for airlines. If you are currently a customer and want any sort of changes such as a new feature added to the software, Trax charges programming hours making you pay hundred and thousands of dollars. That feature that you pay for becomes part of the software for everyone else to use. In addition Trax markets the feature as their own because it is part of the software. Why should a customer have to pay for new feature that is suggested and benefit the software company? The customers do not own Trax.Trax cheats employees. They cheat regular employees by paying them salary, this way they wont have to pay overtime. Trax often requires employees to stay late working extra hours and working on projects without compensating the employees for overtime. It would make sense for management with higher wages to be paid salary, but not regular employees.
Of course most software company do have a support team to allow users to report bugs, but why should customers have to pay for that support if the bugs or issues are not their fault. It isn't the customer's faults that Trax is infested with bugs and other issues.Who are we?

Training Scams. Training should be made readily available on CD, via the web / web conference its the 21st century. But rather Trax makes his user manual difficult to follow on purpose in order to confuse customers. This way if a customer needs training they have to pay big bucks to have a so called expert dispatch from Trax to provide such training. This could cost hundred thousands of dollars for the customers who are far away since they are responsible for lodging, food, transportation etc Why should you buy a software that your own IT team is unable to support? And you wonder then why do they have so many customers? Because the airlines industry always follow. If you can show them one reputable airline on your portfolio, they will all follow. I honestly didnt expect for some of the biggest and smartest airlines to fall for the scam, but many of them did.Trax mislead customers during site visit.
Trax always make it seem that they are a larger company and can handle all the customers that they have when in fact they dont. When customer comes onsite for a visit, they purposely stage the desks/cubicles with computers and fake personal items to make it seem that that there are employees sitting there. In fact there are no one sitting there those employees simply do not exist. This is truly a scam and I believe its illegal to do so. Since Trax doesnt have enough employees to cover shift especially during holiday time when they know employees may want to call in sick or request vacation, they come up with a scam calls "Black out period" which means employees cannot call off or request sick day nor vacation. I am sure if they had enough employees, they wouldnt have to worry about a few folks taking vacation and calling off.
