Treehouse Marketing, Advanced Metabolic, ripoff, charged my bank account $229.95, after I returned the unused product in a timely manner, within the deadline Lewiston Maine

I purchased weight loss pills from advanced metabolics, about 6-12-03. It was advertised on TV. I was told it was guaranteed if I send back unused portion by the 37th day. I sent it back 6-17-03. On 8-4-03, my checking account was charged $229.95. I called several numbers before I finally got the right person. Charmained said, fax her a copy of bank printout showing the $229.95.

I did on 8-6-03. I called back 8-14-03, and someone said that we would receive a check in the mail. My wife called back 8-28-03, and Lana, a supervisor said she told Monterrey Financial not to charge us. However, Monterrey Financial in California, charged my account.

I called them and they said they weren't responsible, to call Treehouse marketing. Treehouse marketing said, the owener hadn't approved it yet.

I am wondering who will help me with my overdraft charge at the bank, due to the $229 which I did not budget for and caused me to bounce 4 checks.
