I am so very frusturated!!!!!! Back in November of 2002, I was feeling desperate to find help in loosing wait. I received a call for the Slim Patch. I was told I could get a trial size ( 1 bottle ) for $19.90 and that I would recieve 2 additional bottles for a total of $199.95. I told the guy I couldn't afford that amount in one large sum.
He said that between us I could buy a second trial pack for a friend for only $9.95 more. Like a DUMMY I accepted. He said if I wasn't interested I could return the shipment with no further obligations. HA! HA! After a few weeks of waiting for my shipment, I received a wrong order. I called the company ( this time getting a hold of someone) and explained I got the wrong shipment. We laughed a little & hung up.
Well I finally did receive part of my shipment, 1 package of slim patch. About 2 months or so later. I only received the patch intruction booklet. No other paper work was in the package.
By now it is Febuary 2003, I go to the to find out I need to be put on a medication wearing the 1 patch at this time. I am told that I can NOT use any diet aids while using this medication.
I then immediately tried to contact Treehouse Marketing. No one ever answered. Starting at approx. 3:30pm I tried aprroxiamtely every 30 min. until about 7:30 om that evening. Wanting to explain that I needed to get the information on what I needed to do in order to return my shipment. Due to the new medication I had been put on earlier that same day. I tried to reach Treehouse Marketing every day for a solid 2 weeks.
I tried to find thier web site, instead of thier site I found this Rip Off Report. To my amazment, I found thousands of different people who had posted reports against this same company I had trusted. I immediately called my bank and cancelled my credit card. Had explained to the bank and they had agreed that I should do so. Ovisously I ticked them off because they couldn't get the additional $199.95. As of March 2003, I was turned off to a collection agency (Montery Collection Services).
As soon as I received thier letter stating that I had been turned over to them, I went to thier web-site and found a contact number. I e-mailed a gentleman named Chris. Explained my situation. Told him I still had all of the shipment in the original package, I also copied this site and sent it to him. In hopes that he would understand and tell me what I needed to do. I never recieved a reponse.
Here it is October 2003. I tried to get a credit card, to my dismay, I am turned down. I get a copy of my report. Not only has Montery Collection Agency put on my credit the $199.90, but they've added $200.00 plus supposedly .10 a day interest. Totaling so far an unpaid balance of $418.00. Completely shocked to see this on my once PERFECT CREDIT, I called and spoke with Kevin.
First very nice,then when he told me that Chris had sent an e-mail in reponse to mine. I explained that I had never received it and asked him if there was any way he could mail it to me again. He immediately became RUDE. Stating that HE WAS NOT OBLIGATED TO SEND ME ANYTHING. Then said he couldn't help me because it was to late for me to return the product. I was stuck with it and would continue to have the balance on my credit report until I paid it.
Now I don't know what to do. I have never had bad CREDIT and because of these fraudulat people, now I have bad credit. What do I do????????? If anyone can help me, please post any suggetions.
