Trends Depot, Trends Depot sells fraudulent merchandise with no indication that it is fake Ottawa Ontario

I ordered two expensive pairs of what I thought were real UGG classic cardy boots(there was no indication that they were fake). They arrived in a box from China (which made me nervous). I opened them and could immediately tell that they were fake. The labels were not even affixed correctly. These were meant to be Christmas gifts, I can't give fake shoes! I also tried them on and they are completely uncomfortable.

I wanted to return them and Trends Depot has all of the crazy regulations about returning items. I have to pay for return shipping, pay for shipping insurance and pay a %15 restocking fee (I will lose about $80.00 minimally). They will not even allow me to return them until they have agreed to it and they still have yet to e-mail me back. I am not sure what else I can do so I will continue to harass them until I get a response. The only way to contact them is through e-mail. They do not give a phone number.

I have contacted the UGG company to let them know that this company is using the UGG labels, buttons and boxes to sell their fake product. I also may contact my bank and tell them to dispute the charges on my credit card.

The bottom line is not to trust any online stores unless they are well reputed (ie Nordstroms, Bloomingdales) and always read the company's return policy before purchasing. Trends Depot has not heard the last of me.
