My loan at Triad Financial would have initially matured in February 2009 but because of three differed payments while going to nursing school the actual maturity date was moved to July 2009. When I spoke with a representative at Triad in February nothing was mentioned about additional interest fees, they just said July would be the last payment before receiving my car title. I paid a car payment late I always paid the late fee interest,so when I did pay my last payment in July 2009 and I called for my car title, the representative claimed I owed 1300.00 in late fee interest which was not told to me initially in February. I requested copies of my payment history and contracts. When I received the documents, I could not find anything documented that there were any past due amounts. I went back and forth with theses people everyday asking for an explanation and could never get a solid answer as to where these bogus charges came from. They were always very rude and condescending on the phone. During this time I was disputing theses charges, I finally gave up and was preparing to pay the 1300.00 when I woke up on November 12,2009 and my car had been reposesed. I called to try and resolve the repo and the 1300.00 then increased to 1500.00 and that's not including the repo fees. It has become obvious to me that Triad Financial had no intentions on ever sending my car title or allowing me to close the loan in good standings. This company is a SCAM and rips off the customers in many ways.If there is a class action suit against these LOAN SHARKS count me in.
