we paid off our car years ago and received the title as Roadloans as lien holder and never paid any attention but they did not sign off on it on the back of the title. now we are trying to get ahold of roadloans and or triad financial corp. and can not get ahold of anyone.if ther eis anyone that can help us please help.

when i paid my car off with Triad Financial, it took me over a Month to get the relase for my title. then after a few phone calls. a repo agent showed up on my door step talking about my car was up for repo! i was what are you talking about? he showed me OUT dated paper work tha twas over a year old when i was behind 1 payment. when i showed him the letter form Triad Financial saying you piad off your car loan. he said OK and left. but it took me a month a afewe phone calls to the supervisors and threating legal action to get my release of title. then afer 6 weeks it showed up in the mail.....
do not give call the BBB on them and the state attorney general in the state they are in and file a complaint. i had to use this aginst them in order to get my release.
You may first want to check if the lien was released, as they may have just forgot to sign it. A good check is that most states will list the lien holder information on your registration. If there is no lienholder listed that may mean that it was released already. If you don't know for sure you can also go to the DMV and have them check their records. If it is in fact released all you should need to do is apply for a corrected title with the leinholder removed, which may cost you a few bucks.
If the lien is still in place then you probably need to contact Santander as they bought out Triad and now manage their loans. If you get no luck with them your DMV should have a process to dispute it if a company did not release the title once paid.
