Triad Financial - Roadloans Repo harrassment North Richland Hills Texas

We purchased a vehicle with an upside down trade in. Having a family business that is struggling with this economy has hurt our credit and this is how we were setup with Roadloans/Triad.

We are years into the auto loan. After falling behind on a few car payments we were greeted with Repo men last night who left after I told them my husband was not home. I also told them my husband was working with Triad and was told to send $603.00 by western union to stop the repo process. We were planning to do this in the morning. The repo men left but insisted my husband call them to arrange to turn over the vehicle tonight and stated we could work out the details after they have the vehicle.

We did not turn over the vehicle. The Repo men called our phone at 10:30pm and again at 2:43am. This morning at 6am they blocked our driveway with their tow truck and I had to call the police so they would unblock our driveway my child could drive herself to college. Although the police told them they cannot block our driveway, they still camped out in front of our home.

The repo men called again at 8:40am looking to pickup the car. They left messages stating they had an officer that would accompany them to arrest my husband on a felony charge for not making car payments. They also stated they had checked with the bank and even if we make payment, they were taking our car today.

Now the payment has been made to Triad and we were told the repo men have been called off however after reading all these letters I don't think we can trust that even when payments are being make on-time this car will be safe.

Although I may be premature, I would welcome information regarding a class action suit. The repo company they used for us is: Reliable Recovery Systems from Illinois
